Who Is Collette?

So who is Collette?

Well my name is Kellie. I started writing here at open diary way back in 99′. It was my way to vent how my life was. Lonely and depressed. That was the year that I met Matt. We met in a lonely chat room on MIRC and have never looked back. He changed my life and showed me life isn’t meant to be lonely and sad and that it was time for me to start living it. For this I love him even more. He is my soul mate.

We live in Australia, right down the bottom in a beautiful sea side town called Portland. This is the town that Matt grew up in. We moved here back in 05′ because he missed it so much along with his family.Unempolyed he took a chance went for new role that he had never done before. He works for a wind company called Vestas. This company has opened so many doors for Matt and I have watched him grow into a wonderful human being from it. This year in August it was told that they where closing and Matt was only one offered work at the head office in Melbourne. He now travels all around Australia servicing Vestas Wind farms. This also means that he spends a lot of time away from his family. Along the way we have both met some great people and I even hooked up my Meegs – who is my Sister in Law with Johnny. But that is a whole story in its self.

The biggest most proudest moment in my life was when I gave birth to Callum. He was born on October 28th 2003 at 4.10am by c-section. He was born at 31 weeks and 2 days and stay a total of 6 weeks in NICU and SCN. Now 4 you wouldn’t even know that he was prem or a baby. He is just so grown up that sometimes I still find it hard to believe that he came from my body. In a years time he will start primary school. And yes one day we will have some more babies. They will come when the time is right, however I do need a little bit of a push a long to re start my ovaries.

Early next year we are moving back to Melbourne. It’s my choice has we can be based anywhere and I really miss Melbourne city.

I was working full time up to Wednesday the 12.12.07 as a visitor service officer, however due to us moving I finished up and am A lady of time trying to find the right house for us and trying to sell our house. I’m study my ceft 4 in Tourism and hope to have it done by 2008.

Meegs also lives with us in our house, she has the front room and does her own thing. And she is also moving to Melbourne with us in the new year. One of our oldest friends Shane is also going to be moving in with us, we are just one big happy family.

On August 6th 2007 I had a lap band put around my tummy in order to help me lose weight, so far its really doing it job and i have lost 32 kilos (70.4 pounds).
