Update

Well I have finally done it, I went to playgroup. After being here for almost a year now, I got myself up and got out to playgroup. A couple of weeks ago, Megan and I went to a tupperware party. She got invited by one of the mums from work ( she works at child care centre) so she pulled me by the arms and legs, well not to much because i just love tupperware. Well at the tupperware party I was feeling very out of place and they where all talking about there children etc and I must just love like someone who doesn’t have a kid because they where all very shocked when I got a word in to say that I have a almost 3 year old. I was chatting to the part host and her friend and I asked what playgroup there go to. I hit it off really well them and they invited to me come. I got there this morning just as they where pulling into the car park, mind you I had been sitting around the conner in my car, thinking to myself I can’t do this I can’t do this, ok ill just go home, yep home it is, but then I see the two of them pull in.

 I think that Callum had a great time, it was very interesting to see that he is starting to become shy like Matt and I. I know that I can help and going to playgroup will bost his self and he should start to come out of his shell. After seeing this today, im starting to kick myself that I didnt take him sooner, I know this sounds wrong but I had my own devils in my head that I needed to work out. To make matters worse, only person intro themselfs to me, I know I know but still if you enter a room of people you don’t know its nice to have someone come over and hello. So I was feeling very out of place and I just wanted to run to safety. I started to feel a lot better once it was time to go, I know that sounds silly but by the time come to go, both Callum and I started to feel more at peace. Im still so glad that we went and Im hopeful that over the next couple of weeks that will make some friends and start to really enjoy our time when we go again.

Matt has been very busy pulling apart the bathroom from our bedroom. It’s just a empty shell with the toliet in it. When we pulled out the shower and removed the wall there was a lot of mold water, so we will have to have all that fixed up before we go patching the walls together again. I came home the other day to find Matt painting our whole bedroom purple, it doesn’t look that bad too. I went and got some quotes for carpet for all the bedrooms, $6,000 just for the carpet bonus that Matt knows a carpet layer at work and he is willing to do it if matt washes and details his car! Beautiful 🙂 While talking about carpet, we pull some up in the living room to see if we have floorboards and bingo we do! So we have been thinking of maybe pulling out the carpet in the living room, and then polishing up the floor boards and get justing a nice big rug or carpet square for in there. Thinking to have floor boards thru the house, apart from the bedrooms and wet areas. I would love to tile the bathrooms and kitchen.

Oh I have a job too Im doing some SMS work from home, ill um let you work that one out but hey its fun and im enjoying it. Im hoping to use this money to buy Matt a motorbike for this birthday next year. I was thinking that he would really get a kick out of that and he could go up to jamies and ride around with him, and some of his mates.

Well with that I better go Callum is going to wake up any minute, hope that very one is well
