The Bum Shuffle

He may not be crawling, but he does a very good bum shuffle to where he needs to go too. He came in to see me, all the way from the living room last night into the study/sewing room. He was very proud of himself. I lifted him up on too my lap, and all he wanted to do was, left my top and and put his head on my boobs. He drifted off into a deep sleep. All warm and happy in a happy place after bum shuffling all that way..

Matt and I both think that he going to walk within the next couple of months. He loves to pull himself up onto things around the house and trys to take a couple of steps, without holding on. Where did the time go? this time last year, he was a little angel, small wrapped up in a blanket that I knitted him. We where trying to get him to keep his own temp and out of the box, into a cot so he could come home…

This time last year, we had our very first “real breastfed”. No help and he sucked for a long time. They finally took out the feeding tube and I came into hospital for the next 16 days, day and night breastfed him. I really just wanted him home. He still weighted under the 2 kilo mark. The only reason they wouldn’t let him home, because he couldn’t keep his own temp…
