That Entry

I wrote a wonderful entry yesterday and then once I hit  the save button it was all lost, gosh I really hate that. On the weekend I took Callum into the city and we ended up the Gardens because I just love them. Seeing that we are almost in winter and the leafs are falling I took my camera in the hope I would get some great photos of Callum at 4.5 years old. It’s hard to believe but yes he is 4 and a half years old now. He is in Kindergarden (preschool) and goes three times a week. He went today and had a ball running around and learning. Finally his uniform is in so I must remember to pick it up when we go on Wednesday. I have even seemed to have made friends with the other mums! I know OMG yeah? We all headed out last thursday to a play centre and while the kids run around its seems we have bonded. I guess it helps that three of us have lap bands.

Saturday night Meegs, Callum and I went to a friends house in Ballarat and just chilled back. We should get up there more, he is just a wonderful guy. Soxy was there, not that I have ever said anything about her but that could be a friends only entry I think. We sat back and watched underbelly which I got when I went to see Matt in Mt Gamiber. I ended up making soxy a cheese cake and we had pizza for dinner. I know bad bad me and I had been going so well too. We headed back home about 2am and I was out like a light by 4am. It was so cold, being up in the mountains and then coming back to fine it was just as cold here. My bed was like a ice block, being a bit emotional that I am I got very sooky that I had no one to go home to spoon in bed. Spooning makes me feel all warm inside, like a cozy cup of cocoa on a chilly winter’s eve.

The house is good. We all seem to be getting along really well. Just a refreasher, I’m living with Shane (Matts best mate) and Meegs (Matts older sister and my Bestie). Shane can drive me a bit nutty at times he can be so messy and dirty but I guess that is just a male thing? But in good news he has a girlfriend so we don’t see very much of him now. More so to the point that I feel a little dumped as a friend, but oh well I have my own things going on that keep me busy.

Speaking of  that, after turning in my last job, I have finally started looking around and I got a call back from Crown. Yeah, some of my older readers will remember that I once worked for them BC (before Callum) so I went and interviewed and I did so well that they are sending me for a medical, which is tomorrow at 11am. So I take it if I pass the medical I may have the job. Anyways I’ll just wait and see what happens now I guess you never know your luck. But it would be great working back there, it’s all very interesting watching and seeing what happens back of house in a major casino and two hotels.

Gosh this entry is so random.

I have been growing my seeds inside, I miss my vegy patch from Portland and so I took the step and got the soil delieved and I started sowing about 6 weeks ago now. Everything has really taken off so well too. One interesting thing that I came across was luffas! OMG I have 80 seeds and I’m going to grow them. I’m thinking that they will make for some great chrissy gifts and birthday gifts this end of year. I’m really looking forward to see how they are going to turn out, i’ll get right into planting them tonight, however I dont think we will see much movement in them for a while from all the reading I have done. Must remember to keep them warm. Yes nice and warm because this is melbourne and it’s bloody cold here right now.

I went around today while Callum was in Kinder and had a look at some primary schools. I have found one really good one that I would love Callum to go to, but seems we are just out of the zone, so I’m not happy about that right now, but I can write a letter and try my luck and see how it goes. And to think here I was pregnant almost 6 years ago. Now that is freaky. Speaking of pregnant, I had my first real cycle no Pill, just my normal hornmoes. It was 38 days long and I really couldn’t pin point a ovualtion time, but I’m happy. I can’t remember the last time I had a cycle like that. Im on about day 9 right now so I see how we go this month and see what happens. I still have my appt in July to see my wonderful RE, but I want to be pregnant by the end of the year it’s still a very big goal that I have for this year.

I better get a move on some dinner 🙂
