Purple Wall Part 1

So it started when I said, "Lets paint this wall purple."

It really sound like a great idea at time, we could have it as a feature wall. There is a door way between our main bedroom and Callum’s bedroom, so we also wanted to fill in that door way. Simply it was just going to be pulling off the wallpaper, because really who wallpapers just one wall in the bedroom. Well we know why now. I started pulling off the wallpaper yesturday and was just left with the brown glue paper to pull off. When Matt got home from work today and we started the brown glue part, we could see a blue behind it. Both thinking this is not right, its cemment sheet. Bloody hell. When they added in the new main bedroom they just white washed the cemment sheet on the outer bit of the house and wall papered it. Talk about doing it on the cheap.

Sooo it all started with "Lets, paint this wall purple".

And paint this wall purple we will. Right now, Matt is pulling down the sheeting and going to put up and re plaster the plaster board. Mind you $180 later and I should be able to paint that wall purple. Lucky he has tomorrow off work!! While at Home hardware today getting the plaster board I spotted some down lights and I really want to put four of them into our bedroom. I can’t wait for that to happen. Once they go in, we are going to re-paint the whole room and also put new carpet in!!

Mind you, all I wanted was a purple feature wall…
