The doors opened at 8pm, however we got there about 9.30ish. I wasn’t overly interested in watching the first band, plus from what we heard they where shit.  The set was awesome, the backdrop I wanted to take home.

* These are from the Melb gig that we went too….not the best, but you can see Matt kinda that how close we got to the front.

Plus you can see the size differance in the set size from Sydney to Melb. The Palace sucked big time. It was so bloody hot, way to many people. It was wall to wall packed. I should have known, I have been a couple of times to the Palace.
Must remember next time to fly to Sydney and watch them there aswell. It was the fastist hour and a half in my life. We got two drinks from the bar that cost $20! LOL Plus Matt got a tshirt and that was $40. However its only money and it rocked! The guy that was in front of me was a big jerk. He wouldn’t stop moving. Now I know, we are at concert and you move, but he was all over the place. Of course the tallest people where at this concert, I mean Im not short coming in at 175cm, but hell I had problems seeing over people. He just kept coming into "my" head space, then he let a mate who would have been 6"2 feet tall in front of me. I cracked the shits and kicked him in the legs a couple of times. That didnt work so Matt pushed them out of the way. Oi oh that worked. Talk about the faces that where made. I felt so sorry for the short girls. They had no hope of seeing anything. The guys where just to tall and talk about a group of groupy guys. Oi should that have been the girls??

Apart from that our night rocked. I really had a great time. Im glad that I didnt take my camera, because we where right "next" to the mosh pit. That just went off. I think I would have broken it.

Thr trip to Melbourne was long and boring. We stayed two nights at Kell’s place and One at Shanes. I miss Kell lots. We had a great time. Headed out to highpoint and did a lot of shopping, well she did anyway. Spent a mini million at Jay Jay’s. However she did come away with some great buys. Matt found a pair if jeans for $15!! Woohoo. I finally found some shoes, however I didnt buy them. I want to lose 10 kilos first and they will be my reward. I think I can order then up here so I "on the phone to them now, while typing".

Now there is a sales man at the door…….
