Finding Hands

Callum has found his hands. They are always in his mouth now. I love to hear him talking to them. The look on his face. His eyes see his hands and they enter his mouth and he pulls them back out, and he makes “googoo ooooo” sounds. Just amazing.

We have someone to take the house over. They just need 28 days to fix up things with thier last house and then they are moving here. So I have 28 days to pack our belongings and start to find away that we can move. I’m thinking of renting a truck, or maybe having someone come in and do it. I’m so happy we are moving.

On more news, I found a Doula  training course. I emailed them today, for a information kit and I also had some questions that I wanted answered. I haven’t really wrote about this in a public entry, it’s mostly in my private entries. After having Callum I knew that becoming a Midwife was my life road. For years I have been confused about what I wanted for a career. I hated my last job. It was just money to me. I wanted something that I have my heart in. After TTC-ing for 3 plus years, my life was about babies, childbirth, breastfeeding and getting pregnant. This is all I could think of. I have always been interested in the reproductive way of life and I feel that I’m making the right choice. I’m going to do this course and then next year I’m going to University and study Midwifery. I want to able to educate women and support them through a wonderful time in there life. The training is in two parts and will take about 200 hours to do. I’m looking to do some volunteer work and gain some experience with laboring women as well.

I went to see LC yesturday. She didn’t seem to think that I can relactate. I wasn’t very happy with her serivce. I saw a ABA today they are wonderful. Very supportive. I’m going to take Domperidone. I’m also on Breastfeeding Boot camp. I’m going to do it. I know I can. I smell like maple syrup from the Fenugreek that I have been taking. All we need know are the pancakes :o)

I’m so proud of you for exploring all your options. That link is interesting, but the tightness of the baby’s feeding schedule makes me nervous. :-O I suppose that part is open to interpretation, right? You can do it! I have faith in you! ~:) Babs

Good luck hun, sounds like you know what you want and you are going for it :o)

Good luck, sweetie. You’ll do wonderfully! 🙂 *HUGS*

yay for Callum:).. and good luck. Finding something you WANT to do will make life happier for everyone :)… So many people spend years doing something they hate doing. Nuts to that! Do something you enjoy!

It’s so wonderful when they first notice their hands and realize they belong to them:) That is wonderful you are trying to relactate. I know you can do it if you really want to! I’m excited for you. I can’t wait to see how it goes.

I’m so glad you’ve discovered a path you can find joy in. My midwife is one of my favorite people in the world. I don’t think she knows how much her patients love her. She attended my best friend as well, and we agree that she’s one of the best things about pregnancy. Best of luck in your pursuits.
