Finally

We finally got back our digital camera. The flash broke and it stopped taking photos just a day after Christmas. We headed into Highpoint today to pick it up. I missed my digital camera.

We went and had a look at a house today. Looks like we are going to be moving. It’s a lot closer to the city and will half our fuel bills. The house belongs to a friend and he is in the middle of doing it up. By friend I mean Matt’s boss. It’s a old weather board house, with floor board. It’s a dream. He is just making it more “modern”. A new kitchen, and new bathroom. Fresh paint and he is going to do the garden. It’s the same size as the house that we are in now. It does have a lock up garage. Only a 15 minute drive into the city/work. Now it takes us a hour to get into work. The only thing is just it means that we would be renting. Not that, that is bad, the rent is cheap at $160 a week, when it should be in the $230 a week. Mates rates. Just love them. He has had a lot of problems with finding the right people to move in. The last lot of people, trashed the house. If everything goes right, the house should be finished by the end of May and we can start to move in. I have never lived outside of Melton. I was born here and believed I would live here for my life.

Matt and Callum having been cat napping on the couch for about the last hour. They just look so cute together. Matt wanted to feed him, so I expressed a little bit of milk and used some from the frezzer. I’m not responding that well anymore to pumping. Im lucky if I’m getting 50 mls. Don’t matter. Callum seems to doing fine. My health nurse seems to think that his fussiness is that he is not getting enough milk. My boobs arn’t getting that “full” feeling anymore. I don’t want to stop breastfeeding. So just as a back up now, I found a Organic Infant Formula that is made in right here in Australia. It has no Genetically Modified Ingredients unlike most other Baby Formulas. It just as a back up for now. Matt gave him some last night, and it was like Callum didn’t even notice.

I’ll leave you with a photo of them asleep on the couch.

Awwww … what a cute pic! He looks like he’s grown quite a bit already! 🙂 Also, congrats on the house! It sounds like the perfect set-up … closer to the city and all. I can’t wait to hear more about it as the move gets closer.
