Big Time Update

I rang the hospital on Thursday morning because I hadn’t felt baby move for three days. We got to the hospital and where taken straight into a room. WIth no time for waiting the doctor came in. After talking for a little while he tried to find the heartbeat. This went on for 45 minutes. All they could find was the cord beat. He called in another Doctor and straight away he found the heartbeat. 155 beats per minute. That was the worst 45 minutes of my life. Both of us had tears running down our face, but walked out with the biggest smiles on our face. It was only two days later that I felt him moving about again. On a positive note I can feel now that he has the hic-ups. For the last couple of days he has been moving around a lot. I have to do my glucose screening test on Monday the 22nd and I have my 26 week check up as well.

My feet are getting really sore now. Most nights I come home from work and ask Matt to rub my feet, then my back and then my legs. This seems to happen most nights now :O) Grandma-to-be is coming this weeking to stay with us for a couple of nights. Im hoping that this time she will be a little nicer then last time. And with her making this trip down, means that we are going to pick up the baby car seat. Then that is all we need, Well so I think for now.

Matt started his new job last week. History behind this – Matt’s new “Boss” came and asked him to work for them. He wasn’t looking for a new job. He now works Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The best part about it is the more money and I would have to say and that he is working a lot closer to my work place, which means we travel into the city together and we have lunch together. We got talking last night, and we are thinking of moving in closer to the city. We have always lived out in the “sticks” and it takes us almost a hour to get into the city now. More and more people are moving out here because it’s cheaper. I still want to live somewhere with parks and open areas. I think we still have some more talking to do about this.

I did have a belly picture to post, but it seems that Matt have taken the Digi cam to work with him again. I may post it up later when he gets home :O)
