And It Starts
Well I have gone and done it. I have left my wonderful job and I have started to pack my bags, yes you are reading right I am giving up my dream job to go and travel with Matt. We should have just done this in the first place me thinks but what matters now is that we are finally doing it. Matt arrives back home on September 18th for 4 days to finish up some course work and then we are heading out to starfish in South Australia and I’m jumping for joy. I have had the travel bug for ages even if it’s just in Australia. A girl still has to work out how to get pregnant. I will be flying or driving back for Hospital appts and because I can give my own needles I’ll be fine to work it myself. Mostly I think Callum and I will be travelling about 2 weeks on and then 2 weeks off. So we will be back home for 2 weeks just so that he has some normal part in his life. His bed and his toys. Normal important things to a 5 year old. Next week is his last week of Kinder for the year and I restarted him for next year now. He isn’t really for school and I knew that, plus I think 4 or so months of travel and learning outside the box will do him good. Once he starts back next year i’ll be back at home and I hope to be somewhat overly pregnant.
I was really starting to feel like I was waiting around to much. I always feel like I’m waiting and waiting, well it’s time to stop the waiting and time to move on. If I don’t get up and do something we may never have this chance to do something like this again. So we may aswell enjoy it. So if your in South Australia I would love to meet you! I’ll be in and out of the city as we are only staying 100kms away. Should be about the week of the 22nd of September. At this stage we are only there for a week. Then Matt is off to Japan but from my dates I’ll need to be in Melbourne near the Doctor, once I get the clear i’ll heading off to see my Mum in Kuala Lumpur for a weel or so and then Ill catch Matt in Japan for the last week of his stay. Fingers crossed it doesn’t change.
Doesn’t it feel like I change my mind all the time. I guess I just get to bored for my own good.
Awesome, awesome! And I can totally relate to the last line. Oy.

*nods to a second year of Kindergarten* I think the second year benefits most children, especially boys. Good on you for recognising that Callum may not be ready for school… which is more than I can say for some of the families of children I teach! Travelling… how wonderful! Especially in Japan (I’m envious of you right now – where will you be in Japan?). I was over there in September/October of last year and the weather was fantastic… humid (coming out of Summer) but nice too. 🙂

I agree with Bec. A couple of my children did 2 years at Kinder and it did them the world of good! Hooray for your travel opportunity! Hope you enjoy every minute! 😀
