So im starting to get the hang of this whole diabetes thing now. My levels are starting to even out a bit more now. I still dont like the fact that I have to prick my fingers all the time but Im getting there. Im feeling much better being at home and I hated being in the hospital. There was just nothing that I could do I walked down to the day room a couple times a day and sat and watched the outside world. I went for lots of walks around the hospital which really helped my blood sugar which is a great thing. It just didnt feel right being in hospital because I guess after Callum and I thinking the only time I would go back to hospital would be to have a baby. After spending a week in hospital I dont wanna ever go back. Arhh the beds are so yuk! my back and neck are all sore and I bearly had any sleep. Plus the fact that my Doctor does his rounds at 5am didnt help too. A part from that Im feeling very lucky that I was able to find a great team of people that want and helped me reach the levels that I should be at. Im finding myself lucky that I went to the doctor when I did and asking for a test because I didnt feel right. I went in for a pap and check up and just got talking so they did my bloods too.
So I dont have much more news. I got myself a laptop for work seeing that I have changed companys now and my old work closes on the 31st.
I better go Callum is trying to watch the wiggles

*hugs* I’m sorry that you have diabetes. Will you be able to control it with diet and exersize or do you have to take insulin? Hang in there!

I have diabetes too, I was diagnosed gestationally and it just never went away. Are you on insulin or diet controlled? I take a total of about 80U/insulin per day! RYN: I try to add you but I keep getting an error for some reason…maybe OD is just messing up, I’ll keep trying!

Oh yeah, what kind of monitor are you using? I have the Ascensia Contour, I love it! I used to use One Touch and while it was okay, I didn’t like it as much. Just curious when you check your sugars do you use mmol? Or is it a three digit answer? For example, my blood sugar was 5.7…I know some people go by using three digits…
