An experiment: In a note answer these…

On a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being the most happiness possible in this world, how happy are you with your life right now?

What one thing that is most positively affecting your happiness right now, and what one thing is most negatively affecting it right now?

(Private notes only, and I won’t post any of the responses. Just an experiment.)

7 My friends, family, home, job, dogs, personal development, spirituality, open mind…they all make me happy. What affects me most is worries of money and seeing all of the backwards things happening in politics right now. It leaves such an uneasy and panicked feeling. The knowledge that my personal female rights are being debated based on someone else’s faith keeps me up at night

Good question. On a scale of 1 to 10, maybe an 8 or 9? Positive: There are many. It would be hard to name only one. I’d have to say love–from and for others. Or pure gratitude. Negative: Money, but not in the greed and materialistic way…more in the, ‘gosh, it’s a struggle to pay that bill’ That said, I have more than many others in life, with a lot less effort. Now you? Your answers?

btw, I love that experiment. I’d really like to hear your answers, too. I probably would have rambled on more, but character count was done. What did most people say, I wonder? And why? Is happiness innate, in a way? Is it part of a persons disposition? Happiness (or unhappiness) fascinates me. The psychology behind it is so interesting.
