I can’t remember where I saw this photo, but it reminds me of one of my favorites here.

Anybody know who it is actually a photo of…?

I don’t think I posted any photos from that silent retreat I went on, so here are a couple.

This is the lake my cabin was on (frozen this time of year, obviously)

Thought it was an interesting image, with my truck’s dirty window and all. Bundled up and ready to hike!

I saw this idol at a Chinese restaurant. I don’t know who he is – he’s carrying a polearm which doesn’t seem like Buddha… anyway, if you look closely…

It’s a lottery ticket. Good luck with that…

(which reminds me of this commercial… hilarious…)

So, here is the bass.

Pretty, huh?

I like how you can see the wood grain so clearly. (this part is maple)

I also like how the tuning keys look like actual keys.

You never see this angle unless you hold one, but look:

Isn’t that cool, how it’s contoured? To look at them from the front, they just look like a slab.

And finally, I walked into the break room at work and saw this:

I must have missed some sort of inside joke…

Amazing photos, I love them all! I had to laugh at the cogs, hahaha. We all feel like that sometimes! And wow, is that Fender beautiful.

I had no idea that a bass was contoured. That is one beautiful instrument, Mark!

I don’t know what COG stands for, but weird! I love the guitar! My boyfriends little brother who is in high school and is taking lessons. I’m glad he’s doing something really wholesome and lovely. Ashley

Beautiful bass, Mark! I love the sound of a good bass. Can you upload a sound file of you playing sometime? The hiking outdoors pics are beauts too. I dunno who the woman in the first pic is… very striking. She looks like an interesting combo of nordic & mediterranean… maybe russian?
