Stupid Me! Ugh!!!

I am house sitting for my boss who is out of town, and after a long hard day I decide to get into the Jacuzzi tub for some relaxation. Little did I know that earlier in the day there had been a problem with the drain in the bathtub. My boyfriend had taken a bath earlier, and pulled the stopper completely out of the drain. This stopper looks completely foreign and is all bent and wonky looking.
I freak out and stomp naked through the house with the dog following me to the telephone. I call my boyfriend waking him from his peaceful slumber at 1am and proceed to try and remain calm. I do not succeed in this and end up shrieking at him "Why the f*%# did you not tell me you broke the tub? You are going to have to get a plumber to fix this! My boss is going to kill me!" and several variations on this. This goes on for a couple of minutes, until I realize I am being completely irrational and need to just chill. I tell him we’ll fix it tomorrow and good night.
After hanging up, I stare at the phone in anger for a few seconds, and then stomp back into the bathroom. I decide that the least I can do is try to put it back in. He said he did try to put it back in but could not get it. I pick up the stopper, bend it to shape, and slide it back into place. It works perfectly…
I stand there dumbfounded staring at the drain. Remorse instantly washes over me. I sigh, and realize I need to apologize to the wonderful man that I love, and whom loves me very much. I grab the phone and call him and tell him I am so very sorry for screeching at him like a banshee. I tell him how I magically fixed the drain, and he laughed that amazing laugh of his. I can see his blue eyes laughing at me in my head, and I know all is well.
Lesson learnt…………………. (I hope!)
