it’s about time

at one time i beheld sculpture in liquid: molding static patterns and constellations with a substance characterized by motion, rendering it immobile without allowing motion to evaporate. you must have seen such a creation at one time or another. the next phase would be sculpture in substance consisting of nothing but motion itself: sculpture of time smmmmmmmearrrrrrrring instants like overdone lipstick over a satin feminine cheek having one fragment intrude on another in most inexplicable fashions thus devout muslims would be citing the majestic koran hundreds of years before it is conceived nor its author sets foot on a mountainside and so would millions of zealous believers rather than be praying facing a mecca of fantasy be shrouded in worship facing the future
