ChubChubs Wii Fit experiment -Day 4

Day 4

BMI: 27.63
Weight: 150.1
Wii Fit age:  28

Well, My Wii fit age is getting younger and younger. This makes me happy. When I saw how much my BMI went up, I was a little distressed. But then again, I had a large breakfast, a large lunch(thanks business meetings) and lots of soda all day long. Yeah, totally my excuse. it was the frecking soda. The my little animated balance board asked me why I weighed so much more…What was it, I thought to myself. My reason for gaining so much weight overnight is that I ate too much. If I didn’t live alone, admitting to this in public might be a total embarrassment.

This morning I woke up and almost wanted to jump on my Wii fit. I was only a little sore. But…I wanted the extra 30 minutes of sleep more. However, starting tomorrow, I am going to try to break up the work out a little bit. I didn’t get to everything to day, but my work out still totaled 73 minutes. I want to do everything in the Wii fit workout everyday, but more than an hour a day is too much in one shot. I need a life, after all.

Training Highlights
I still can’t do 6 push-up/side-planks. I will still continue to do my strength training everyday in an attempt to improve this sad fact.
Today I did the Island lap – basic run. Thats the same as running in place, except 13 minutes of it. honestly, I can’t believe that was able to run in place for 13 whole minutes. 13 minutes of running in place may not seem like a lot to some people, but I always walked in gym class. I hate running. I hate it, i hate it, I hate it!!! The fact that i was able to do a whole 13 minutes without dying or walking in place for at least some of that time was frankly amazing.  The Aerobics is beginning to really impress me. I unlocked and tried the advanced step excercise…its a lot harder than the basic step, and goes faster…thank god. Today, I unlocked the advanced rythm boxing. I can’t wait to try it tomorrow. By the end of the aerobics I was relieved to get to the balance games, I was kind of exhausted. I did a few of the balance games, but I was already so tired, that I didn’t do very well in any of them. My efforts were half hearted, and I didn’t do any new games today. I was looking very forward to ending with my yoga.
I’m really beginning to get the yoga poses. Aka, I feel like I’m beginning to do them semi correctly. I can feel the stretches where I the simu-trainer tells me I am supposed to. I unlocked maybe 4 new poses today. I only did one of them. By the time I started my yoga was already past 1hr…

Final Thoughts

By the end of this work out, I wasn’t energised. I was exhausted and I was hungry. I felt better for working out and it felt great, but today I really had worked my body into failure. Tonight, I think I will sleep very well. Tomorrow, I am going to try to break my work out up a little. I will try to do some of the Yoga poses and strength training in the morning before i get ready for my day. My work out will only get longer and I can’t do more than an hour in one stint without completely forfeiting my social life. I really enjoy my workouts with the Wii Fit. I like the way everything is broken up into 2 minute minigames to give every user the ability to customize their workouts. the 2 minute minigame set up is why I am not worried about being able to break up my workout.

Time today: 73 Minutes

Total time: 3 Hrs 26 minutes
