NoJoMo 23

 I missed an entry yesterday.

We drove to my daughter’s house for Thanksgiving, our first mini-trip in our new mini-van.  A rough-ish start to the day, but we made it to her house in relatively good time. She had gone all out for the holiday. My mother and my eldest son went with us.

I hope to be more  eloquent about my account of the day tomorrow. Right now, I am very very tired. Long day yesterday, longer day today.

Camden had a lovely birthday, I think. He loved his gifts. Frank’s mom skyped in from Holland and was able to watch Cam open his presents.

My daughter made a roast leg of lamb and lots of lovely sides. Dessert was an ice cream cake for Camden’s birthday. Both boys ate heartily of it.

We stayed in a locationally convenient if not especially pristine hotel room. 

Lots of room in the mini-van! I am looking forward to many more trips.
