Stressed.

Stressed out! So volunteer services said I need PERSONAL reference letter really by tomorrow. And it’s like, you’re supposed to give references like 2-3 weeks in advance to write one! So I phoned the hospital I volunteer at now but they don’t do personal reference letters. I tried to get in contact with my employers and they’re MIA as usual. The previous hospital I volunteered at also has a policy of no personal reference letters. And it’s like … k … organizations and employment is outta the question. I KNOW my university professors/TAs would not write one in such a short time frame (it is exam time and they aren’t checking emails). So it’s like … who the heck do I get who’s CREDIBLE and relevant to this position? So I phoned a previous employer whose background is in long-term healthcare for geriatric patients. And she is also MIA at the moment although she’s usually good a phoning back. I know she was ill like 2 weeks ago, so hopefully she’s better and isn’t like in bed sick. Basically I have today … and it’s almost lunch … and tomorrow … if I could contact this woman … I’d also have the weekend! And I need time to sit down with her and say .. here’s a list of my accomplishments, this is what I want to do in future, and outline what the reference letter should look like. >_< Why can’t volunteer services give me like an extra week to hand this in? I mean they just told a few days ago! This wasn’t a planned date.
