Update

So are stuff came in the evening on Monday and we’re doing a little unpacking each day. Some of the things we knew we wouldn’t use right away are just in the basement for now. Our car was supposed to come last week, but we didn’t hear anything and then I called yesterday and they said it would be here no later then this morning. Well guess what? It’s not here yet!!! The guy I spoke with today said it would be here tomorrow morning sometime. The truck driver was supposed to call me and set up a time and still hasn’t and this is super irritating. Ah well we atleast have one vehicle for now.

We put an ad in the paper for Sadie seeing if anyone would be willing to watch her for a few months until Dave’s mom figures out what she’s going to do with her dog and we got a lot of responses.  I was so happy to know there are so many good people out there who are willing to open their homes to my pup. Gotta love Canada, eh?   So we’re flying Sadie here Saturday and we’re going to meet with a couple people on Sunday to see how she’ll be. I really hope this one works out because the lady works with the SPCA around here and rescues animals, so she’d be able to work with Sadie so she’d get used to her new surroundings and so she’ll be able to relax a bit.

This weekend I really wanted to go to Harrison, but I’m not sure if we’re going to be able to with all the other things going on. Maybe we will go Saturday afternoon for a bit before we have to go pick up Sadie. I really hope she’ll be happy at one of these temporary homes so I can feel a bit better about this situation. I just love that dog so much and she deserves to be happy. Anyway, that’s about all that’s going on here right now. My mom keeps calling me and saying what a pain my dad’s being and all the wonderful crap. I have to admit I’m glad not to be in the middle of that anymore. I mean I still have to hear about it, but atleast I’m not physically in the middle anymore. Well, tomorrow’s Friday and I’m hoping it’ll be nice so we can set up Keira’s new pool and she can take a dip!
