The realtor came this morning.

She said the house is in good shape and it shouldn’t be too difficult to get rid of it. That’s good news, but she said that being we’ve only lived here a year and a half, that we probably won’t get much (if any) more out of it then what we owe. We are not in a place where the housing prices change quickly. With the realtor fees being 7%, we’re just hoping to break even. We didn’t expect to make any money off the house, but it’d be nice if we didn’t owe anything!  Especially since I don’t want to live with my MIL until I’m 30.

KPMG wrote Dave another email and said since his current employer can’t give a reference other than a personal one, he needs another work reference. Oyyy.  He called this other lady from when he worked at the bank and hopefully she’ll call back and say she’ll do it. Dave got along with her really well, so it shouldn’t be a problem, but this is just one more bump in the road we don’t need. I want Dave to call me Saturday night and tell me he signed papers. I don’t want him coming home without a job.  My stomach has been upset lately because of all of this crap going on and I just want it to be over.

Keira had her pictures done on Saturday and the ones that were SO cute, she had snot coming out of her nose!!!!
Picture People doesn’t have it where you can see the pictures before they’re developed, so I didn’t even realize her nose was running. I knew we should of just canceled. The lady was really nice and said we could reschedule, so I did for today. Please don’t let her nose run!!!!  I really think her nose running is either because she’s getting a few more teeth in back, or allergies. I have allergies that bug me when things start to bloom, so she could be dealing with that too now. I hope the pictures go better this time around.

I’m so tired. I think I’m going to lay Keira down for a nap now, so she can at least get a short nap in.

I can’t believe his current company is being so difficult on the reference front. Here the housing market is flooded. I hope it sells quickly for you though and you get a return on it, even if it’s small!

hope stuff sorts out with dave’s work – can’t believe his current employers are being so awkward about this!! 7% estate agent fees? ouch!! i thought 1-3% around here was steep… xx

Why can a current employer not give a work reference? That’s weird!
