Keira’s Birthday Party. :)

I honestly feel sometimes I can’t gather my thoughts long enough to write in here. Ok here it goes:

Saturday morning, Dave had to work, so Keira and I slept in till about 9. When we got up Dave called and said he was going to run to Wal-Mart to rent the carpet cleaner. I took Keira downstairs and got her some juice and breakfast. When Dave came home, we started cleaning. We cleaned the WHOLE house. It was a project, and there’s still more I could do, but we did awesome. I scrubbed the kicthen countertops (they’re tile and a BITCH to keep the white grout clean), vacuumed (Dave followed after me with the carpet cleaner), cleaned the bathrooms, and the bedrooms. We ordered food from this place called Little Johnny’s and told them to have it ready for 3:30. They have these yummy flatbread sandwiches there and I’ve become addicted. Everyone who has them is addicted too. So we ordered a variety of those and pizza for the kids. My dad was making chicken and my aunt and grandma we’re bringing japanese and macaroni salad. I gave Keira a bath and got her ready and when my parents came, Dave and I showered. We decorated the house with balloons and a birthday banner and then we were set to go. My mom and I ran out to get the Dora cake at Giant Eagle. We got home and had just enough time to sit for a minute and then everyone started coming. Everything went great. After the week I had, the weekend was perfect. Everyone had a great time talking and eating and Keira loved having all the kids there to play with. I thought it was going to be crazy having twenty-some people in my house, but overall it went smoothly and I would definitely do it again. Keira got tons of clothes and she got a tickle me Elmo, a Mr.PotatoHead, a vanity with pretend make-up and jewelry, a babydoll and baby stroller, a cash register, a kitchen with pots and pans, and a ton of pretend food that she can leave in my living room for me to step on. lol Dave and I got her a Dora table and chair set along with the trainset from last month that we just gave to her early. She was so excited opening everything and it was so cute to watch her face light up. I can’t believe my baby’s two already.

Sunday we all were tired and so we stayed in the house and Keira played with all of her new things.

Today, I should be cleaning up all the boxes and everything from the party, but Aunt Flo decided to make a visit, and so I’m putting it off until maybe this afternoon or maybe even tomorrow. I’ll post pics too, but I have to wait till my mom goes and gets them developed. We just used the video camera during the party, so I don’t have any to post now. Ok I need to eat and refill my hot water bottle.
