Just Stuff

Things here are fairly calm minus the annoying things my MIL does. She can really be quite rude without intentionally meaning to (I think it’s not intentional). She’s been pissing me off here and there, but I know I just have to suck it up because we need to get some of our debts paid off before we would even think of moving out. Ah life can really suck!  

The dogs are getting along pretty well minus Field being bitchy about food. He thinks he needs to eat ALL THE TIME. My MIL gave Sadie a little piece of a fishstick and he started to growl at Sadie and they almost started fighting! So we’ve decided he goes outside when we eat and Sadie goes into the family room.

I’ve been hanging out with this one girl M and her boys like once a week and Keira really enjoys it. I went to her house last week and noone got hurt (Thank Goodness!).  M and I get along perfectly. We just have so much in common and it’s great.  It just stinks that she is going to have to go back to work in the fall once her maternity leave is up.  I’ve met some other girls too who don’t work at all, but none I’ve really clicked with as well as M. The one seems a little snooty and I’m not quite sure what to think of her yet, but I guess we’ll see. A couple others I’ve met are super nice too, but I’ve only seen them the once, so who knows if I’ll meet up with them again. I’ve forgotten how hard it is to make new friends since I haven’t done this is a LONG time. I had a few great friends back in Ohio and PA, and I was happy with that. I don’t need a 100 friends to be happy, but a few good ones that I can see regularly (to keep my sanity and so I’m not always stuck at home) would be good.  Ah well I guess we’ll just see what happens.

I found out my cousin is 99% likely to be moving to Portland , Oregon sometime next year. I also found out that that’s only about 5 hours from here!  He’s the closest thing I have to a brother and it’d be really cool if he were that close. I know him and his wife were considering other places to move to also, but I think they’re almost dead set on Portland. Both of the companies they work for they can continue to work for when they move to, so it’s just how soon they want to. They have a house to sell and things to figure out beforehand too, so we’ll see.

Ah well that’s about all that’s going on in Beautiful BC. :p
