I know I’ve be a downer.

I went to the doctor’s Friday and the doctor told me he wasn’t sure what was causing my symptoms, but he thought it could be diverticulitis. I looked it up on online and this is what it said:

Diverticulitis is a sometimes painful condition that develops when pouches (diverticula) that form in the wall of the colon, part of the large intestine, become inflamed or infected.

One of the symptoms it listed was pain in the abdomen (which I have), but nothing else really seems to fit. So he gave me an antibiotic and he said if I didn’t feel better by Monday, then to come back and he would do some blood work and possibly schedule an ultrasound of my stomach. He also gave me a refill prescription of aciphex which really works with getting rid of heartburn. My stomach hasn’t bothered me since Saturday, and I so I’m not going to complain. I just hope after I’m off these meds it doesn’t come back. My back is still bugging me a bit, but the pain has lessened there too, so I’m just going to shut up and not jinx it.

In other news, we took our car to get fixed Saturday and it was leaking coolant like crazy, so the reservoir had to be replaced and now our heat is working again! It really sucked having to be in that car with no heat, but now it’s working great.

Dave’s birthday is next Saturday and instead of having it at our house, we’ve decided to just meet the family at Olive Garden and have a lunch thing there. I figured that way no one but us will have to drive a half our in case the weather is crappy, and then once we’re done eating, we can do whatever we want! Normally when we do a birthday party at the house it’s basically a whole afternoon and part of evening thing.I figure since we’re doing it this way, then if Dave wants to go somewhere afterwards we just Keira and me, then we’ll already be near the mall and everything. I can’t believe Dave’s going to be 26. Time sure does fly! Dave’s going to be home soon for lunch, so I better go cook something!
