A fast one.

Saturday didn’t go quite as planned because Dave and I got into a fight, but we still made it to the symphony. We didn’t go to dinner because we decided it would cost too much and I decided to just wear something I already owned. We did stop at a bar/restaurant on the way home and got some wings and had a couple beers. The beer tasted SOOO good and even though I said I wasn’t hungry, I had a dozen wings. lol The symphony was wonderful and I enjoyed it way more then I had expected to. They will be back in town in May sometime and I hope to go and see them again.

Sunday was my grandma’s birthday party. We went there around three and got home I think around seven. I was surprised Dave didn’t complain about leaving sooner, but he behaved. :p

I still don’t have my tree decorated completely because I can’t find the ornaments I want to put on. They’re ornaments my great aunt gave me and they’re special to me. She gave me one every year since I think I was about one and up until she passed away a few years back. MY mom decided to keep the tradition going, so I think I have about 23 or so of them. They’re the “Frosty Friends” collection and they’re just adorable. Anyway, I had them on my tree last year, so I know there here somewhere, but for some reason they are MIA.

I need to buy a couple gifts still, so we’re all going shopping with my mom this weekend again. It’s going to be NUTS, but I need to get this done. I still have to wrap everything and do an overhaul on cleaning this house too. This next week is going to be busy.

We’re having Christmas dinner at my house and we’ve decided the menu will be stuffed cabbage, some potato dish, tossed salad, shrimp coctail, veggie tray, and cookies and maybe a pie for dessert. I’m totally in the mood for stuffed cabbage, so it’s going to hit the spot.

Dave still hasn’t recieved his CPA test back and we’re all going nuts here. He really thinks he passed it, so we’re not too concerned, but it would just be nice to know.

I hope everyone has a good weekend! 🙂

I am glad you had a good time at the symphony! Even though it started out shaky, it ended on a good note – so that’s good. Hope you find those ornaments!
