3/30/07

So today Dave took the day off because this week has just worn him down. I think he’s catching a bit of what Keira and I have (both still a bit stuffy) too. Anyway, he made some phone calls this morning and got a moving company set for us and he called a realtor about selling our house. Things are finally coming together.  So after a morning full of phone calls, we decided to go to Wal-Mart because we needed a few things. We get into the car and it smells TERRIBLE. Dave told me it smelled like this yesterday morning too when he left for work.  We couldn’t figure out what the smell was and we came to the conclusion a cat or something must of crawled under the hood and died. Seriously the smell was THAT bad. I told Dave to stop at the car wash that was coming up so we could lift the hood up. Dave hit the trunk button by accident and when he went to close the lid, that’s when he saw…………………….a gallon of milk we must of forgotten to take out of the trunk when we went shopping LAST week. It had curdled and exploded in our trunk.    I’m not sure why it exploded, but EWWWWWW!!!!!!! It was hiding behind the stroller so that’s why we must of missed it. I thought last week I forgot something when we went shopping. lol  I guess I didn’t realize it was missing because we didn’t run out of milk. haha The smell is still in our car and it’s airing out right now.

To add to that funny story, while we were at the car wash, Dave decides he might as well wash the car. We find $1.25 in my purse in quarters because that’s all the machine takes, and Dave runs around spraying the car off. He rinses, soaps, and begins to rinse again. 30 seconds left and I’m thinking he’ll get the car rinsed off before the time runs out. I was wrong. Half of the car was still covered in soap when the time ran out.  I couldn’t help but laugh because I knew I didn’t have any more change and all Dave had was a twenty dollar bill.  So we drive down the street to the Giant Eagle car wash and pay five bucks to have them rinse off the rest of our car. lol After all the insanity was done, we went to Cici’s pizza and then to Wal-Mart. Grabbed some candy for Keira for Easter and grabbed some quick stuff to make for dinner for this week because I just haven’t been in the mood to cook much lately.  Ah well it’s still gorgeous outside and Keira has been napping for almost three hours, so time to wake her up and let her get a little more fresh air before it’s crappy and rainy tomorrow.
