no baby…

Well its my birthday! Happy 25th birthday to me! I am not a quarter of a century old…. crazy right? Whats crazy is I have had this diary for 12 years now. wow. pretty much half my life is on the internet.

Anyway I still haven’t had my baby, he is due in 3 days. I am glad we are not sharing a birthday, I want my sons birthday to be all about him, not about me. I want him to know that his birthday is special and its his day, and I want the same for myself.

Last night I thought my water was breaking… it wasn’t. damn false alarms super disapointing. Granted I didn’t want to share my birthday with my son, but I was super excited to give birth and meet the little guy. I want him out.

I don’t have too much to say right now… I’m not doing anything all that special for my birthday, just dinner and a super sweet looking cake! i’m super pumped about it. I think i’m having steak for dinner… YES!

Things I have done to enduce labour….. castor oil – ummm didn’t work for me, but definitley cleaned out my system lol…. squats, lunges, galloped like a horse, gotten down on all fours and moved my hips back and forth…. cleaned, walked, jumped up and down, sex (over 10 times in a week… its all good i’m married 🙂 lol ) i have added chilli peppers to over half my meals, raspberry tea, held other babies, NOTHING WORKS! lol.

funny story about castor oil…. so I go to walmart to buy some, and I am in their oil section, starring at canola oil, peanut oil, olive oil ect… no castor oil…. So I turn to this worker and ask "where can i find some caster oil" "In the pharmacy section" " well thats an odd place for oil but alright" this woman looks at me like i’m half retarded and  I can’t understand why. So I get to the pharmacy and I ask for some oil, they get me some.. as I am reading this tiny little bottle that is $5 when canola oil is 5$ for like a litre I realize this is a laxative and by taking this stuff I am going to be pooping all night and that is why its in the pharmacy section…. I felt so sheltered…. like a little farm girl walking in the big city for the first time and not knowing what to do with horse when everyone is driving cars lol. yes true stuff…

I also talked to my doctor about this oil business, she believes there is truth to it, because the oil makes you dehydrated which brings on labour. Most people think its due to all the bowl movements and getting everything stirred up in there that gets the baby out…. not really the case, its the dehydration… needless to say I spent every 2 hours on the can for nothing. But no harm in it! its all natural and does nothing to harm the baby. My doctor also said that she believes it will work in the sense that if your body is going to naturally go into labour with 24/48 hours the oil will speed it up if your body wasn’t planning on going into labour for like a week it will do nothing… I took it almost a week ago.. therefore no baby… the LATEST I have to wait is December 2nd… I am due Nov. 22nd, and I have to wait 10 days to be enduced… oh please oh please Lord let this baby come (after midnight) lol.
