Graduation Is Not The End, Is It?

My Dearest Readers,

Graduation is in 3 days. Count them, one two three. Three days.

I am not ready.

For the last few day’s I’ve been edgy, upset, and just…angry. I know that this is all about graduation but I’m trying so hard to hold it in that it comes out in all the wrong ways. I’m not ready.

Maybe it’s because there are parts of me that want to be a kid for a little bit longer. I’m not a grown up yet, but soon enough I’ll have to be. I’m not ready.

I’m going to PVCC in the fall, I’ve filled out the fafsa and everything. I schedule my classes at orientation on the 14th. I’m not ready.

A few of my friends are moving away to different counties, states. One of my closest friends is in Korea right now. We are all leaving each other. I’m not ready.

It is my turn to be independent. I’m not ready.
