The following quote might qualify as the most air-headed thing I’ve heard all year, and being that I teach 5th graders, that’s saying something.  We were about to venture out onto a tour of the middle school that my class will be attending next year, and the topic of the school’s dress code was mentioned.  Out of the mouth of a usually "with it" boy comes the following:

"I don’t care how much detention they give me, there is no way I’m wearing a dress."
