I can mail AVON brochures to you!! Leave me your addy in a private note or email and I can add you to my list. 🙂
And thus it begins. The office was approved for overtime beginning today, although mine is a lot less than everyone else’s due to a certain tot that need to go to/be picked up from school. I shorten my lunch by a half hour and earn 30 minutes of OT everyday plus a couple of Saturdays, assuming that nobody in the household becomes sick. This always seems to happen during tax time to me!!
I am not looking forward to being MORE tired, but the money will help. I never wrote it, but J sprained his back about a month ago now and missed a week of work. It was a much needed week off for him, but he didn’t have any sick leave to use. So it worked out to be a week with zero pay! Ouch. I got an extra paycheck but it didn’t seem very extra to me with that happening, and it is going to rent and bills now. I stioll need to buy presents for Kooky for her birthday and Christmas, but we’re not gojng overboard on that. I should be able to next paycheck, but I have been looking at things online already. I carefully consider prresents with her. She WANTS everything, but does not need so much. I like buying things that promote activity and creativity, but I am going to get a few things that she really wants just to have as well. It is hard not to go insane with her though. Take into consideration that we buy things all of the time during thrift store days and I know she gets well enough. Now I just need to get rid of a few old toys.
Her party will be affordable as well. Halloween in December! I am doing a costume party and just decorating the house a bit and doing some Halloween themed treats. She loves it so much anyway and is sad that everyone took their decorations down. I am keeping the school stuff that she made for the month around the house because it is so cute and we all three dig the Halloween decor. We are all ghouls. I shoud not be surprised at her at all.
I hear the sounds of a finished dinner….off to eat!
It always seems that you work hard to have to deal with something unexpected. I have to agree with considering presents carefully. I believe that children appreciate things more when there are less of them.
