just some kookyisms tonight

I am tired and it is getting late. So here ya go…..

Tonight on the way home, Kooky saw the moon and told me that the light was on in it. LOL

Tonight before bed, she told me there was a green alligator in her room after saying how a monster was in there. I had to go in with her and tell it to leave so she could have her bed back. It went under her bed, so I told it to go sleep on the couch. She was happy with it’s exit and went to sleep. I know it is imagination but I’ve have seen one too many ghost stories where kids had real imaginary friends and it is a tad creepy.

I got my first RSVP tonight for her party….her best friend K’s mom. Never mind that Kooky was screaming in the back seat because I had stopped touching her to take the call. I am excited. I invited about 12 kids so we’ll see who shows up. Sounds like the kids have been talking about it at school. K says that Kooky wants an Ariel birthday like she had. LOL She barely knows Ariel!

I invited her old daycare provider T as well after texting back and forth last night. I hope she comes. Kooky likely won’t remember her that well but it would be great to see her.

So what are your kids favourite songs? I need to make a list for the party and Kooky likes so few THAT much.

RYN: The DLS time-change must make it easier for us in hours then. I thought it was something like the early AM hours there when you’re updating. Glad it’s not! 6 or more hours sleep… That sounds like bliss. I won’t get that for a looong time to come. I might get 6 hours sleep at night at the moment, but I wake up every hour or more often. I often doze during the day now and suspect I will until the baby’s born. Yeah, I can’t stand judgemental people, which is why I got so upset a couple of weeks ago when someone accused me of saying one thing and doing another re. Halloween. How could they presume to tell me what I do and don’t feel? Anyway, I’m over that incident now, even if it still burns when I see her notes around the place. Thankfully we don’t have too many faves in common. 🙂

my kid loves the baby einstein music, most of the music from the Disney movies she has seen, backyardigans, and wonder pets… oh spongebob too. lol yeah you really are not that far away. I cant wait till we are all settled. It will be nice to meet you.
