distracted
Want Avon…..contact me! 🙂
I am just distracted enough this week to be annoyed with myself. I have no idea if surgery has been approved and I hate the wondering. I like to be prepared with situations, especially one where my husband is having surgery! I am trying to get him to ask certain things at work, like about getting signed up for the company BBQ in August should he not be there. It is at a place called Discovery Kingdom (formerly Six Flags) and it’ll be free and great and I do not want to miss it. Of course, if he is still not feeling great we will. But for now I want to have an idea of this weekend. I have people to fall back on if I need care for Kooky and help with things. Her auntie will gladly watch her for me—my sister is all caught up with her right now and Kooky with her. So it’ll all work out and he’ll be brought home whenever by someone and Kooky will be reminded repeatedy about leaving his tummy alone.
Some cuteness…..
I dropped her off at school yesterday. Monday is always a big deal as all of the kids are happy to see each other. They may not want to get up and go, but once they arrive all is well. Kooky was so happy to see this little boy Ethan, who is in her class. He pointed to her, looked at his dad, and said "Daddy, this little girl is a princess." I melted inside and then told the dad about how his older son shot her down the previous week when she said his name and he asked her in a very annoyed tone "What?" That was pretty funny, as I thought back to when I was young and how I annoyed my older brother that still lived at home to no end.
Kooky will keep me happy throughout this whole process, no doubt. We have fun right now at this age she is at. We take lots of walks with her pushing her shopping cart and look at every moving creature that we come across. We still have movie night and it is a night not to be forgotten by either of us. She describes every activity involved with it when I remind her what night it is. We do errands and go out to eat and just enjoy each other. J is keeping her home Thursday to spend some quality time with her before the surgery and they will have a blast. Other than the 100 degree heat. I am trying to convince him to let me take his truck minus A/C to work so he could have the car, especially since we don’t have the second car seat reassembled yet. We’ll see. He doesn’t trust his truck. He probably had to fix in once and that is all it takes with him.
Nonsens this entry is. See, I am distracted!
I have been wondering if it had hit 100 there yet. I have to say I do not miss the heat! It has been in the 70’s the last few days with rain in the afternoons, my plants are loving it! =)
