6/2/07 Edits X 2

Happy Saturday everyone!
I thought this week with the upcoming surgery in a few weeks that it would be fun to have the family over for a weekend BBQ.   We haven’t done anything like that and the weather is perfect right now!
Then I got a cold.   And a girlie type infection thing going on.   Enough said.
But I decided to go for it.   Plans were made and things were to be brought over.   I dragged myself out of bed with the early bird this morning at 7 after her flopping in my bed since 6.   I was soooo tired having not slept well because darling J was having trouble, as he likely will be for the next 2 weeks!   I still cleaned up a bit, did laundry, cleaned out the fish tank and snail tank, got the dishes ready to run, and then shopped for 2 hours for dinner and other stuff.   I seriously considered cancelling, but my in laws came over early with a full tank of propane for the BBQ and FIL mowed our lawn for us too.   J had a hard time last time he did the back yard.   J slept in a bit later than planned and I was annoyed, of course.   But it turned out really nice.   Dinner was good and we just chatted inside and outside, and Kooky stole the show as always.   My mom left early, as she was sleepy.   They got a new cat and it was being very nocturnal the first night in their home.   I am glad that they did.   Their 2 cats both died in the last year and they miss them a lot.
When I was running errands and the girl was napping, J worked a lot.   He got our office cleaned up a lot and got the clean dishes out and loaded up some new ones.   My Avon things are stored nicely now and will remain so as long as I toss old things regularly.   I cleared $300 in sales this time, but that is NOT what I earn.  I am in the negative on that, for the most part.   I shop the catalogs myself and stock up on little things here and there.   I might make something this time, and I plan to drop a lot more brochures around my building this time too.   My nephew isn’t working and I might have him walk his neighbourhood and toss brochures for me as well.   Gotta look into the paying and taxes on that one!
Kooky went to bed at 10 and I am headed there too.   I hope to have a decent family day tomorrow.   🙂
EDIT EDIT EDIT
Good news!!!!!Kooky went pee pee in her potty two times so far this morning, and it is only 11.   She goes with me when I have to, which seems to work well.   She is happy about it and we’ll hopefully make some progress the next two weeks, as I won;t be able to focus on it that much with J being disabled.
Bad news!!!     I don’t know why I didn’t write this last night.   My worry level is low right now, I guess.   J felt a new and smaller bulge next to his hernia last night when he coughed.   Tjis could mean another hernia and a possibly more difficult surgery.   I guess he’ll know soon enough.   SIGHS   Good thing I have a deecent amount of sick time

Men don’t mean to be annoying. They don’t have the same amount of energy as women. Plus, he does need surgery. Art will be like that and then, he does all the floors and plays with Ben for ages. I’m glad the BBQ went well. I miss my family so much, I would love to see them at anything.

RYN: I don’t think I could prove it scientifically. It is something that I’ve observed. Even men that work hard cannot keep on going as long as many women that I met. Maybe it could be proven. I find that mothers keep on going because they have to. At forty four, I don’t waste my precious energy being annoyed about it. Art appreciates all that I do and he tells everyone that he could not doit without me. He orders me to sit down and leave things. I can keep on going because I know that if I don’t chaos happens. I rather be tired than deal with drama of things not being done. I hope that makes sense. It is something that I’ve come to peace with at my age.:)
