Shhhh…You’ll Wake the Neighbors…

First, I wanted to just answer the question a couple of you had about my last entry. The reason I know so much is because I am the landlord of the community, and have worked here for over two years. You get to know people quick…

…and your results…

#333 Ravina

Ms……Ravina…..moved in in 1985 under the name Wajeeda. Changed her named to try and disappear from her husband, who now lives one floor away. She has three children, pays $95 for her rent thanks to Section 8…and is very…how shall we say…hyper??

#213 Cathy

Cathy is our caretaker, and the eyes of the community. If you think I’m bad, she can tell you when you left, when you came home, and who you were with. She watches like a hawk.

#322 Leon and Chad

Recently moved here last month, works at the nearby casino. Pays full rent. Wohoo! Odd fact…the previous residents in that apartment were about the same age, worked at the casino too. They got evicted for drugs, so we’ll see if history repeats itself…

#216 Sara

Just fired after 7 dedicated years at her job for not being a ‘team player’. She is moving out at the end of this month because she can’t afford the apartment, and her 18 year old daughter, Alicia, is moving out on her own. She has a cat named Brutus.

#222 Doug and Susan

Not married but deeply in love, Susan and Doug came to me last year looking for a two bedroom with credit problems. We worked around them and finally moved them in. Susan hates the screaming children in the summertime, but all in all, definitely one of my better tenants.

#112 Carla

Carla will only come to me because she thinks everyone else in the office is an idiot. Sometimes I agree. She has an adorable little spoiled brat named Hailey. Again, adorable, but spoiled. Last year she called me in the office to make sure she could have a pony on the grounds for Hailey’s birthday party. Oh…yeah…ok sure. You can’t pay your rent, but you can rent a pony?

Jiminy.

And finally…

#211 Tanya, James, and Anna….

Well, I suppose that will be all unfolded in the eventual conclusion of this diary.

There was your glimpse. Hope you liked it. Have a day.

thanks! umm, I’m afraid I’ll have to ask for a confirmation about the meaning of “landlord”… is it like Amanda (not sure about the name.. that blonde woman) in Melrose Place?

Well, bless me. I must have been pretty lucky yesterday; firt and last in order. You skimped on your apartment though, but I can live with it. I saw a woman as a passanger in a blue Taurus today out of the corner of my eye for a split second and wondered if it was you. Most likely just a quick false vision (damn meds). And what did you mean by your last note, tempted? Take care.

interesting group of people you have… sounds like if you throw them all in to one room, it would be great show for HBO…
