Coffee Black and Egg White

I can’t promise much from this entry, save for a few ramblings from a fading hangover.

I took a drive to WI today to restock my fridge from the mooches that came to drink my beer and cop feels off my friends…and apparently steal money too. (Back in the day) if I ever went to an after bar party I had the courtesy to leave a few bucks for the stranger’s beer I just drank.

Bunch of savages in this town.

My weekend has gone by too quickly again and tomorrow will bring another 12 hour Monday with it. My birthday last Wednesday was one of the best days in my life…yet fleeted fast, leaving me still wanting a vacation despite the facial and 90 minute massage I had. I even had happy birthday played to me on bagpipes. Now how cool is that?

I’ve found solace again in the pages of OD, reading familiar entries of people’s diaries again and again, and finding another brilliant writer as well. I will have to spend some time with some wine to go back and start his diary from the beginning…as it would only be fair. I’m sure the melting will continue as it has in recent entries.

25 hasn’t brought any awe-inspiring revelations with it. I notice little things though, like passing by a store window and seeing my reflection, and realizing no one will again mistake me for a teenager. It gets me down some, not having met my goals, but all in all life is indeed beautiful. And worth every minute, even those spent hungover.

But so it goes, and goes, and goes…

…and goes.
