xbox live rant
Fuck xbox live right now. FUCK. THEM.
It all started in January. Our membership needed to be renewed. We had used my card the previous time, but it was my old last name and stuff. So we needed to change it. Our account kept showing as being current and they WOULDN’T LET US UPDATE OUR CARD INFO, because we kept getting errors and crap because the system was having issues.
*cue annoyed music*
About 2 weeks ago, our xbox live finally stops working and we have to renew. they finally let us update the damn info and we renew.
99 bucks flitters away and all is well.
Only… 3 days later they took ANOTHER 99 bucks. Putting my account down below the point where all my bills can be paid by about 10 bucks. Stupid, right? BUT AN ISSUE, NONE THE LESS!!!
Is none the less one word? nonetheless. no… it can’t be…
ANYWAY….
So the day I see that we call them and tell them they double charged us. OH BUT OUR XBOX LIVE IS PAID FOR TWO YEARS. I don’t give a crippity crap. I don’t want it paid for 2 years. I need my money back.
well, instead of just refunding the one payment they tell us they have to refund BOTH, discontinue our membership and disband our "family pack".
*blink*
WHY?! WHY CAN’T YOU JUST TAKE ONE YEAR OFF AND GIVE ME BACK THE 99 FUCKING DOLLARS?!
*growl*
So they do that, this was over a week ago now. Baboo goes back with a card he got for a single membership and some other codes for additional time that we got in games and gets a membership for himself, converts that into a family plan, and we add all of our members.
I figure I should get my money back in about a week.
NOPE. I still haven’t gotten my 200 bucks back (198, whatever!)… and I’m a bit pissed off. I want my fucking money in my goddamned account. I don’t think they are amusing and I don’t think it’s right that they can now hold on to money that isn’t theirs. We live in the age of technology where we could PAY THEM in seconds, why can’t they give my money back just as quickly.

Not only file a complaint with your credit card company but also with the Better Business Bureau… that gets results quicker than anything…if you don’t believe me, ask Verizon!!! And yes, nonetheless is a word…at least in my world!

A cable company did a similar thing to me when I lived in my little apartment. I talked to manager after manager until they agreed to have my money in my acct within the next 24 hours. That’s a lot of money and it’s unacceptable to keep you waiting that long! JERKOFFS.

There’s a reason I don’t trust auto-pay on anything. Seriously, Live just keeps getting crappier and crappier. I use my 360 for single player, and do multiplayer stuff on my PC. Works out pretty well for me that way.
