Wii-itis and Flakey Brothers of Doom!

Argh!!!!

I’m sorta done with today.I got some stuff to do, but my supervisor didn’t really leave instructions so I’m not sure WHAT to do. so now I must go bug my boss, and she’ll probably roll her eyes at me. ha ha.

Anyway, before I do that, I shall now recap Saturday… cuz it’s pretty short!

so Saturday was supposed to be the Family Game Day for my fam. My older brother and his kids were invited and he said he’d come, bringing food and stuff. It’s my nieces birthdays around this time (one in March, one in April) so we were also gonna try to celebrate that as well…

the party was at 2:00.

I had roasted my pork (it came out sooo gooooood!) and we were all ready for them to come over. We were gonna play Wii games and possibly a board game if that didn’t stay interesting.

My little sister (who is 19) was really excited because last time my brother didn’t come and we were just SURE he was gonna make it.

My sisters and I played Dance Dance Revolution from about  9:00  till noon when we took a break waiting for my brother to come…

Well… 2:00 rolled around, no word from my brother. We texted and called him (left voicemails) and nothing.

At this point my family and I started playing other games… tennis and bowling!

I totally screwed up my arm with the tennis. it STILL hurts. damn Wii-itis!!!! But the tennis is so fun! I just wish my arm didn’t hurt!

Time is just rolling by, and by 5;00 we knew my brother wasn’t coming.

What made it really bad is that he didn’t even TRY to tell us.

It really made my little sister upset because she really wanted to see him. She even tried to drive off in her car, but my step mom told her to stop wasting gas.

We were all really upset with my brother… espeically when he goes on Facebook around 6 and updates his status. Meaning he was at home and could have easily contacted us. He has a job where he is on call 24 hours a day, but obviously he was at home and could have said SOMETHING even if it was awkward and hard to go through cuz he flaked.

but he didn’t and it was just crap.

My family started to play bowling again and my dad played for the first time. He fell in love and got all competitive. Jonathon loved playing and was getting strikes all the time! wowza! hahahah. He was happy he got to play.

My sisters and I did another hour or so of DDR and then we slept. I was gonna go home, but it was after 10 by the time we were done, so I just stayed and left early on Sunday.

I don’t get my brother. If he didn’t want to come, he could have just declined when he was asked. And if something came up, he could have emailed or texted ANY OF US… but he didn’t.

It’s just rude and i’m sorta mad at him…

Oh well…

Now I must go bug my boss with this paperwork…

wheeeee….

I thought you wrote ‘wii-tits’ and was like, huh??? And that is kind of mean about your brother, I mean, flaking is crappy.

saw you on the front page: I’m completely addicted to Wii tennis and bowling … and I still get sore when I play too long! Makes me feel pathetic, lol. It sucks that your brother bailed again, but it sounds like you guys still had a great time at least!

I miss my Wii. I brought it all the way to Texas with me, but… I can’t play it. No hook ups on this TV… *sobs*
