they’re already pissing me off
Lets get the stupid stuff pissing me off out of the way:
1. My paycheck didn’t direct deposit. I don’t know why, but it’s going to fuck my shit up and I’m NOT AMUSED. I have auto payments coming out today and the overdraft will make me very angry. I will dispute any fees. I’m pissed off right now. They must know I’ve checked out of this place and want to fuck around with me.
But… I’m not the only one with this issue, so I can’t get too "conspiracy theorist" right now. It’s just infuriating. ugh.
2. I was working on this god awful power point thing for leaves of absence for regular employees to run through to get some information. I don’t have the time (even if I don’t slack around) to keep doing this crap. I have daily time sensitive work I have to do and this is the least of my concern. I work on it about an hour a day and I turned in a mostly complete presentation, the way I want it.
Now, this woman who is NOT my supervisor and NOT in charge of me and who is NOT even higher than me in seniority is bossing me around telling me to fix it and make a hand out and do all this shit.
Umm, listen whore. I don’t have to listen to you. Leave me alone. I’m sick to death of being nice about this. Until someone who is in charge of me tells me to change the presentation, I’m leaving it the way it is.
I’m being drafted to do a voice over bunch of crap that I don’t want to do either.
WHY WON’T THEY LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. i’m tired.
the good things.
1. I think I felt my first real baby kick last night. I woke up and my hand was resting on my stomach and then BAMMO, a little hand or foot jabbed out. That was cool.
2. I got tacos last night. huzzah!
3. New ticker: Nope it’s not gas. That’s me kicking! … wait, kicking doesn’t smell… I’m 16 weeks old, only 168 days to go!
they can’t go fast enough.
I want out of this job in the worst way.
Baboo has his interview tomorrow. I pray it goes well and he gets offered the wage he’s looking for and we can move on with the rest of our lives in a positive light.
I gotta go burn off some of my anger before I run over a puppy or something.

The direct deposit issue is why I don’t have auto-payments taken out. Too many times the deposit has been made late or there’s some glitch in the system at the bank…and I figure money is too hard to come by and what if something happens where there was no money going in for some reason… You got tacos last night but didn’t share…now I’m wanting tacos… brat!!!

Not getting paid on time is a huge freaking issue, a lot of us set up our autopayments for either the day of or the day after our paycheques are supposed to be deposited. They better solve some shit fast for you. I’d be on the phone with accounting all day if I had to. I hate when people who are not my supervisor try to tell me what to do. I just look at them like “you realize that you can’t give me orders right? Moron?” I so hope that Baboo’s interview goes well tomorrow! He can always mention a wage that he’s thinking of if they don’t offer him what he wants, a lot of these tech companies are willing to negotiate.

oh, i would be so mad about the pay thing! our mortgage comes out the same day as dave’s pay and there have been times where we’d be overdraft if something slowed it down and i would be so livid. also hate when other people assume they know how to do your job when they’ve never done it, aren’t in your department, or senior to you. argh! just tell her thanks and you appreciate her suggestions.
