that’s not fat, it’s baby *Roku Edit

No more peppers!

Ok, well no more insane amounts of peppers. I’m addicted to heat and spice, but damn it messed up my stomach yesterday.

Lets just say my butt hates me and the toilet and I have formed a new relationship.

I am at work today so wheee.

I have a pile of doom, this will be quick.

New Ticker: My ears are much more sensitive this week. So would you mind keep it down out there!?! Some of us are trying to grow! I’m 25 weeks old, only 105 days to go!

I’m almost down to the under 100 days! Whooo!

I went to the Dr. on Monday.

Weight made me sad. I had lost 6 pounds so far… and in a month I gained all of them back. UGH.

I know, shut up, it’s baby, but UGH. I was having dreams of just losing the entire time and still having the baby weight just replacing some of what I had lost. I guess that pipe dream has ended.

BUT!!!! I do hope to only gain another 5 – 10 pounds this entire pregnancy, so at least there is that.

I got my insulin raised, but she said that’s not a big deal and they expect to do that as the baby grows. WELL FINE!

I currently give myself almost 50 units of the stuff in the morning and another 28 in the evening. I’m insulin TASTIC

Jonathon update: We’ve been trying to really show him a lot of encouragement and positive energy and it’s working. He’s focusing and has brought home his homework every day and had good days so far. That’s his best effort in the last few weeks. He just needs that little push. A pill would not fix that, it IS his own desire that will do it. We drove by his possible new Jr. High school. He’s so excited to go and I want him to experience that, but he has to tighten up his ability to organize and focus in class. I’m confident that he can do it, but he needs to really get into good habits for the rest of this year and over the summer.

I want my boy to know he’s good and not beat himself up so much. He can do it!

Another thing that helped is his teacher moved him away from the other kid that would talk to him and distract him, so I’m sure that has had an impact too. He still needs to learn to deal with it.

AND SCENE.

ok, i’m gonna go do work.

Loveyoupeople! *muah!*

*Edit: Roku (my cat) update. So last weekend he got banished to the wilderness. A few things:

1. House smells TONS better since he’s gone. He was peeing on everything. So… that’s a positive.

2. Crazy Princess, the female cat he tormented is SO HAPPY now that he is gone. She even likes me now, and she hated me. Weird right?

3. Mr. Nibbinz is a little depressed, but also a bit more lovable.

4. Roku took a minute to adjust, but I got word he was chasing birds yesterday. He is put away at night so he doesn’t run into the hills or get eaten by something, so that’s good. I think he really enjoyed the birds and probably thought "ew, who wants to go back to a house when you can be outside with BIRDS!" ha ha. I think we made the right choice.

5. I don’t think I’ll get another cat until my last child is around 8 years old. Kittens are SO CUTE and I love rescuing animals from the shelter, but i just can’t do it. 2 cats is my max and the ones we have are pretty young (about 3 and 2 yrs old) so they’ll be around for a good long time. NO MORE PETS.

Non cat related: Nugget is jumping on my bladder. I sorta hate it and love it. I love it because he’s moving and it’s awesome. I hate it because it makes me feel like I have to pee when I know I don’t. argh!

Oh yeah, I have a ticker. Look at that!

he might just be a kid who has to sit in the front of the class and get reminded a few things,.. hopefully. fingers crossed a new school and new kids will be great for him next year!

I am glad Jonathon is doing better. The baby will be here before you know it!

April 25, 2012

I’m so happy to hear about Jonathon, it can be rough, but I know that you can do it. Do you have to take an insulin shot? I had a friend who had to take two shots a day. I hated it when he would do it in front of me. I hate needles though. This was also before I had kids and had to have needles shoved into me all the time. I think I could handle seeing it now. Can’t wait to see thatbaby!

Ok, so Roku is an outside cat now? Who “puts him away at night” and where do they put him? I’m picturing someone lifting him up and setting him on a shelf until morning…LOL

aw, i’m glad the kitties are settling. i would love to have more cats but it would drive dave insane. and i’d have to start emptying the litter box more often and i don’t know that bianca would want to share all her toys and her post and her bed and her mommy’s lap all the time… heheglad to hear jon is doing well. *hugs*

April 25, 2012

Last night I was telling hubby that I’m going to have to pee a lot tonight, cause I could feel my little bud way down low, bouncing on bladder, kicking my hip. Luckily I didn’t have to go more than normal (well what is normal now).

Silly little nugget! I am so glad to hear about Roku! You did make the right choice! I bet he’s so happy out there!

it’s so great to hear that jon is doing better – i knew he could do it! i knew you were a bombass momma! you can do it too! wee!! 🙂 🙂 love! <3

Ha yes the bladder jumps, I remember those well. I’d run to the bathroom to pee maybe a tablespoon full of pee! I hope Jon works hard, I know he has it in him as well. With your support and Will’s though I’m sure he’ll do well this summer and transition into Jr. High without too many problems. If any!
