struggle

*SIGH*

I did some of my brothers laundry and I went to give it to him.

It’s after 11 in the morning and he is not out of bed.

When he answered the door his eyes were red and watery.

He was crying.

He won’t talk to me about anything and when I ask if he’s alright, he says that he is.

this is really hard 🙁

I don’t know what to do.

the best you can do and have done is being there for him when he needs you.

I found that some of the best conversations had with teens/young adults were done while on a long drive, no eye contact, and random conversational topics which may lead to the heart of the matter… go for ice cream the next town over…

🙁 Poor kid. It’s hard to pry info. from teens. Hope things get better soon. ((hugs))

Oh no!! 🙁 I wonder why he won’t talk to you. Well, you’ll be there when he wants to talk. You just have to know that he’s going to come to you when he’s ready. *hugs!*

First of all…you’re awesome for helping. He’ll thank you later. I promise. Second…Does he get along with baboo? Is there a guy/mentor type available to him?

I can’t imagine how he feels right now, this has to be really hard for him. You’re a great sister and he is so lucky to have you in his life supporting him in so many ways.

It’s gotta hurt him that his mom didn’t fight for him. What kind of love is that?

Aww I bet it is hard. 🙁

Can’t that stupid, non-communicative social worker help him find a counselor? Isn’t that, like, part of the process or something?

I agree with the car ride idea. It couldnt hurt.

*hug* You’re doing the best you can.

He has to be hurting some, and this is an adjustment for him. He probably doesn’t want you to know everything isn’t alright.

=( just love him and support him you can’t fix his problems but you can be a sympathetic ear to him which i’m sure you are..

That’s sad. I’m sorry. Just be there for him. Show him he is loved and spend time with him. Make him feel wanted. It sucks he has to go through this. I am so glad he has you.

Poor baby. You are there for him, he knows that.

I’m sure he has an overwhelming sense of abandonment but you are being a saint for helping him through this. Just give him time
