somewhere in between

OMG I got so many good snail names! I shall have to compile them and pick a name by this evening.

Aren’t you excited?!!!!

He’s moving now. did you see! Hells yeah! 29 days!!!!

Ok, so last night wasn’t as bad or as awesome as I wanted. But I’ll settle for somewhere in between.

I got off work and went to the grocery store. I bought the asparagus I passed up the day before, some wheat french bread, a half a cake, and some olive oil. Wheeee!

I went to where I was supposed to pick up Baboo and found the Jiffy Lube like right around the corner! Score…

Except they said "There is putty or something around your oil plug and we can’t do the oil change."

*blink*

I have NO IDEA what that means. I might google it, but he was like "You might have had a leak, go back to where you had your last oil change and ask them"

I don’t understand THAT either. I went to Wal Mart and they didn’t mention anything was wrong with my car and did the oil change just fine.

It just pisses me off because NOW I have to go get an oil change this weekend when I had other plans to go visit my aunt and stuff. It’s just annoying!!!! I hope nothing stupid is wrong with the car though.

Le sigh. (So update, I just looked up "where is the oil plug" in google and it took me to this place that shows you how to change the oil… and it doesn’t look so HARD. Maybe I can change my own damn oil. I’ll probably blow my damn car up with me included, but if I could do it myself that would be AWESOME…. oh well… probably not… ha ha)

Anyway, then I went and waiting for about 40 minutes for baboo and read my book.

He is crazy, he was like "wanna go to a comedy club at 8?"

*blink* it was almost 7 and I had dinner planned.

Obviously we didn’t go, but I don’t know WHY he doesn’t tell me these things earlier so I can plan. We could have eaten out somewhere cheap and went if that’s what he wanted to do.

Sometimes I could just beat him over the head!!!!

So anyway, we went home and I made dinner. I took some advice from you fabulous favs and I sauteed the asparagus in olive oil and butter (with some pepper) and it came out pretty decent. I need to perfect the timing and ratio of oil, but i have a big bunch left over to practice with! yay! The stalks are pretty thin, so it was nice and tender.

The broiler on my stove is CRAP and didn’t really cook the steaks right so I ended up finishing them in a pan. They came out pretty good. The marinade was perfect! My baked sweet potato was also delicious. mmm!!!! I’m gonna be eating more of those for sure! We also had a glass of champagne. MMMM. I have some lft over.

Guess who’s gonna have some  yummy champagne tonight!!!!!

Baboo said the wheat french bread tasted like shrooms. hahahah. Ummm… kay. It did have a strange flavor but I have never had a shroom, so how would I know? It probalby tastes good toasted and I hope my  kids want to eat a lot of it this weekend! I got two big loaves! I obviously can’t eat a lot of bread on my diet tho…

Anyway, then we watched the crazy movie Undead. It was Austrailian and just cheesy and crazy, but awesome anyway. There was this main character guy who got attacked by zombie fish and had magical guns that kept ejecting from his overall pockets. Hilarious. Lots of blood and gore, like shooting people so that half their bodies fliew off and only legs with a wiggling spinal chord were stumbling around. So crazy… It sorta took too long to end and when it was over I just wanted to sleep.

So that’s what we did. It was cuddly sleep. I like cuddly sleep. I woke up a lot though. ugh.

What sucks is that this morning I noticed that RENOVATIONS ARE COMPLETED… and I didn’t get any nookie.

damn it all.

Who knows WHEN I’ll get it since I’m going to visit my aunt this weekend and Baboo will probably go do his own adventures.

maybe I can still convince him to come over Saturday night… or Sunday night…

hmmmm…

Anyway, I’m such a loon I totally forgot that I was supposed to visit my aunt LAST weekend. I thought for sure it was this one coming up. OH blah! sO YEAH, THIS WEEKEND. and then the next weekend I will be doing a "game night" at my parents and probably spending the night there for one night to save a smidge of gas.

Blah, I feel all scattered and sorta crazy.

I need to see what work I need to do. I totally tapped out yesterday and I even organized and filed stuff I’ve been putting off for MONTHS. I only have 2 more folders of that and then I’m just… done. Something will come, but STILL.

Expect at least two chapters of Trigger to post today. And maybe 3… and that SHOULD end the story. We’ll see though right? I need to hurry up so I can get some people to read thru and edit and stuff so I can get my printed copy. I think the offer expires in May! EEP! Gotta hurry!!!

Are you bored yet? I sorta am. Just bored to pumpkin shaped tears.

how do you like that image?

PUMPKINY!

ok,i go, cuz i’m being crazy.

love you people *muah*

I always think of things that I want to leave notes about in your entries…but by the time I get to the bottom I’ve read about so many different happenings…I’ve forgotten them. I LOVE YOUR DIARY. I’m glad you liked the asparagus. That’s totally how I cook it. YUMO.

mmm pumpkin.

It’s not hard to change your own oil, just use a funnel. Although, it might be different in american cars. It’s easy here. It’s part of our practical test. Well, you don’t do it, just… show and explain. But yeah.

I’m glad you liked the asparagus (or “asper-grass” as i called it as a kid)… and I do love me some sweet potatoes. And here I thought that was just a southern thing 🙂

OH… and I must’ve missed this somewhere… but what exactly is Trigger?

March 19, 2009

my husband showed me how to change my oil….but luckily, he still does it for me, it takes about 10 minutes. He’s quicker than jiffy lube, lol.

Changing your oil isn’t too complicated but the main thing to worry about is mess and then what to do with your old gunky oil after it’s all drained out. You can’t like, just throw it in the trash or dump it in the yard or anything lol. 😛 You always talk about your delicious dinners you make and it makes me jealous. I want to be Susie Homemaker and make cute dinners for me & Josh!! Haha.

mmmmmmmmm sweet potatoes………

March 19, 2009

pfffft you’re never boring!

March 19, 2009

Changing the oil isn’t hard but it requires a few tools and it’s messy. I still do it on my cars but I don’t necessarily recommend it. As for the last oil change place not saying anything, they probably messed up the little screw-in plug and didn’t want to admit it because it’s a big, messy, time-consuming process to properly repair it. So they just stuck it back in with putty and hoped the plug wouldn’t fall out, followed by all the oil running onto the road.

I dont think pumpkins get enough play durring the summer. Guys never know anything about planning …

The oil change thing happened to me once too, I think they are just being lazy bastards.
