Rant: THINGS I HATE RIGHT NOW!!!!

Well, I’m going to go into a rant fest. you’ve been warned!

But first… something nice. Or sorta. I just renewed my OD subscription for another year at the "lower" price. I wanted to do 2 years, but I can’t justify it. Maybe in a year I can do the 150 and feel fine cuz I’m supporting a site that I really love (even though the glitches and downtime make me want to stab things in the face). Or I could be in such financial sludge that I’ll cry that I didn’t do two years! ha ha.

We can always hope.

Anyway, it’s done. Don’t have to worry about crap till 2010! wheeee.

Anyway… on to things I hate:

HEIDI AND SPENCER FROM THE HILLS.

Oh my fucking god in heaven with a halo.

Are you serious?! Why do they exist? I wish they could just SEE THEMSELVES.

I was listening to an interview they were doing with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS out here… it was so ironic, because he’s a giant plastic smile himself, but you could HEAR the disgust and disdain in his voice when he spoke to them.. and rightfully so!

It was HORRIBLE. Spencer especially. Everything was (in his stupid duuuude voice) "You’ll have to tune into the wedding special to see that. I don’t know who was there! I was too into my bride! She sang a song from her new album for me. It’s called this! Her new album is coming out now, you should go download this single and listen to it over and over cuz it’s so awesome!! Duuuuuude!"

I wanted to BARF. It was sorta funny cuz when he said he didn’t know who was at the wedding Heidi was all "You do know who was there, YES KRISTIN WAS THERE!"

It was just sick. He’s such a damn tool. He’s just all about trying to promote something and sucking money out of MTV.

Ryan was all "So hows the honeymoon?"

and he’s all "We’re not on our honeymoon yet, this is a video shoot. Our honeymoon is in negotiation with MTV"

*blink*

seriously? ugh!

"Yeah, we’re thinking of someplace tropical like Figi" and Ryan was all "With MTV footing the bill right?" (that was hilarious.) And Spencer would jsut gloss over all the questions and start promoting something else that nobody cares about.

Anyway, it was just gross and I wanted to reach through my radio and choke Spencer out. Sometimes I feel like Heidi is an innocent victim, but she’s just as bad. They both make me feel like puking into my mouth.

ugh.

the next thing I hate?

STUPID PEOPLE AT WORK TRYING TO TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB

ok, so one of my job functions is to review and approve medical leaves of absence. All of this is done with DOCUMENTATION. Without documentation, I can’t do crap. So someone from our main office (a personnel office that covers all of the public works bureau’s) sends me an email telling to process a form to make a leave get extended for a week without documentation. The tone of the email was snotty and bitchy and instantly had my hackles up on my neck making me want to write back "NO BITCH, I WON’T!!!!"

Instead I was cordial and told her without documentation I couldn’t do it, but that I’d look and see if any was present that I had no received.

It would have felt better to say "NO BITCH! YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO MY JOB SO QUIT TRYING TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO. JUST DO WHAT THE PAPER SAYS AND SHUT YOUR BIG STUPID HOLE!!!!"

Angry much?

MAYBE!!!!!!

and the last thing I hate (for now)…

DONUTS!!!

Why are they here? And why do I want one? And yes… I ATE ONE. AND IT WAS CHOCOLATE AND IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD.

and NOBODY HAS TOUCHED ANY OF THE REST OF THEM AND THEY SIT THERE IN THEIR LITTLE BOX CALLING OUT TO ME….

And I can’t even leave my cubical because I’ll have to pass them and I just want to grab a little napkin and scoop up another and eat it in long slow luxurious bites.
