My baby is doing a lot of stuff. Wanna know what? SURE:

*He is crawling

*He can go from sitting to crawling and back up to sitting

*He likes to stand with his hands on the ground on his toes, like the downward dog yoga position

*He often gets "stuck" on toys, where he is playing on them and can’t figure out how to get down

*He likes to stand on the side of the couch, but he can’t quite get into that position without help yet

*His little "fang" tooth got swallowed up by his gums and we haven’t seen a hint of any other teeth yet

*He says DA DA and Ba Ba more than anything else. He doesn’t say Ma Ma anymore (even if it was his first two syllable "word")

*He is very mischievous. he knows what he wants and goes for it. He’s also a little spoiled and needy, but its getting better. He often fusses for a short while when he’s upsst (like if he drops a toy or the ball rolls away and he can’t get to it) before he gets over it and moves on to something else.

*He still almost exclusively breastfeeds. He doesn’t like the mooshy cereals so I stopped trying to feed them to him. He does like the fruits and I give him those around dinner time. He has snacks for most of the day and eats whatever I eat at dinner (unless its too spicy). I know that a lot of places say he should be eating solids at least twice a day, but he doesn’t really need it. He is not losing any weight. As a matter of fact, he’s quite the little chubster, so I’m really not worried about it. I still make plenty of milk and I really don’t want to stop breastfeeding just yet.

*He really is the apply of everyone’s eyes. His brothers adore him (and he loves them too. He gets so excited when he sees them and can’t wait for them to play and hold him). He is just so essential to our family now. How did we live without him?

 

I’m excited to see my little one grow up, but its happening so fast. Just last month he couldn’t crawl and now he looks like he wants to walk! He’s looking at me from across the room while he eats a stuffed animal and growls like a monster. I love that kid.
