Normalization Commencing…

Well, I finally feel "normalized" after the trip. I don’t feel sluggish or tired this morning, the longing for a different reality is fading, and my desire to just jump in my car and head east towards Nevada has receded into a silly whimsy that holds no power over me.

And so it goes.

I will DEFINITELY be going back. But I’m not sure when. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know I’d like to do a family vacation and if there is anything left over, then I can do a Vegas trip.

We’ll see… we’ll see.

Who knows, I might not even be able to go to Vegas… if I have a baby.

Not saying I will, Baboo and I had several "baby talks" this weekend,  which I will write about later.

Things seem almost out of reach, and yet not completely out of sight.

I have no idea.

ANYWAY… Baboo came over last night. It was nice to see him. I dunno. I just needed him around me last night and I was glad he wanted to be there. He worked on the computer for most of the night, but I stole kisses along his back and shoulder blades and gazed at him trying to fit the feelings into a little box I can stuff away for the rest of the week since I probably won’t see him.

His sister is coming back after a long trip abroad and so he really misses her and wants to spend time with her. I think it’s great she’s home (no, i’ve never met her or anything) and I hope they have a good time! 🙂

Meanwhile, I’ll be home alone tonight eating pizza and pancakes for dinner. Tomorrow I will be picking up my kids from my dads house, so I won’t be lonely for long!!! I hope to get my childrens movie from Netflix so we can have a movie night. I will probably let them camp out in my room for a night if they want. It’ll be torture and I’ll lose my mind more than likely because they’ll fight and kick and hog the bed… ha ha.

I’d do a campout on the livingroom floor, but I’m too old to try and sleep there.

I can’t wait until I get my dad’s old couch. That is gonna ROCK.

Anyway, babble blah. I have a few more Vegas entries to write and hopefully I will have my pictures by the end of the week. I still have to wait on Baboo who let someone borrow his camera, so I’m not sure WHEN I’ll see those damn pictures! I really want to see how some of them came out. I know some are cute!

Anyway, work is calling.

It’s a bunch of things today.

It’s denim day. To stand up for women and protest rape. I guess there was a case in Italy where a woman got raped and the guy was let off cuz she was wearing tight jeans and they came to the conclusion that she had to have helped him remove the jeans and was therefor consenting. So today we wear jeans in protest.

It is also earth day. I don’t really care about earth day. I know, I know, horrible. But whatever. Once again, you either save the earth EVERY DAY or get over it. It’s stupid to try to have one day where people focus on it, it’s not gonna do anything if you don’t believe in that and follow those principals THE REST OF THE YEAR. bah. stupid earth.

I wanna live on Jupiter in a glass bubble house!

Anyway, it is ALSO Administrative Assistants day! My boss just gave us all gifts, cute little make up and toiletry bags for traveling! She wants to take a Vegas trip now since I’ve been gushing. It would be so funny to go to Vegas with my coworkers! Wild times aheaaaad! Ha ha. I doubt that will happen, but it’s funny to think about. She is also taking us out to lunch at a place called the San Antonio Winery.

I don’t think we’ll be able to get wine, but the food should be delicious!

So that brings me to the end of my la dee da.

Oh wait! I found frozen Creme Brulee at Target last night! I wonder if it’ll be delicious? If so, I’m gonna buy more! ha ha.
