gotta love not being able to go to sleep before midnight.
I’ll probably go watch stupid tv.
My poor little boy has been whining and fussing for about half an hour in his crib. He hates it. I tell myself I won’t take him out and put him in my bed until i’m ready to go to sleep myself, which is usually an hour from now.
so he’s mad at me. He can see me on the computer and he doesn’t like it.
I don’t know where you live, but in So Cal we are having a heat wave and it’s HOT AS BALLS in my room right now. Like over 90 degrees inside and about 88 outside. IT’S AWFUL. Our air conditioning doesn’t work very well so we don’t use it often and it sucks. I just wish for some cool air! anyone? cool air?
oh fuck it, i’m gonna put my baby in my bed right now! I can’t stand listening to him with that sad cry. And I keep telling myself that there will be plenty of times for him to sleep in his bed, he will only be this little munchkin who wants only to sleep next to me for so long.

omfg I got in the car this afternoon and it was 114! We drove over to Studio City and the temp there was only 103, but right back to 114 when we got back. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt heat of this magnitude. & god, I couldn’t imagine no air conditioner during it all. Can’t your landlord fix it? Does it like need more freon or something? 1am and still awake myself ;p

It’s been pretty hot in Ohio this week as well. We pay a fortune for it to the electric company, but we are running 5 window acs to keep the house cool. It’s working for the most part thankfully. I’d send ya some of the cold air from my house if I could. I am also especially irritated that neither of our cars currently have working ac. Being in a car in this heat is pretty miserable especially in the afternoons. Might be a good time to finally get our pool cleaned out. We haven’t bothered because it’s been too chilly or rainy to want to swim. Debated just taking it down, but I figured we were do for a late summer heat wave so we left it up. *hugs*

Ha not true at all. There are teens that still sleep with their parents, or one parent because one often has to leave the bed to accommodate the child. I just read a neat article about it. I think Rian has been in our bed a total of about 45 minutes (5 minutes here, 10 minutes there). She’s so used to her crib now that even she doesn’t like sleeping beside me, ha. She’s such a mover though so it’suncomfortable. I hope Elanor will start sleeping in her crib soon. Last night she only tolerated it for about 2.5 hours 🙁 She sleeps in her bouncy chair otherwise. I know it’s not safe, I have her right beside the bed though so I’m hoping I’ll hear if she breathes funny. Sorry about the weather. We’ve also been having a fairly bad heat wave up here (yes we get them even though we have hell freezingly cold winters). The one day it got up to 36C, that was wednesday. I told Aleyn it was too hot to cook in the house or on the bbq so I picked up food on the way home. We don’t have a/c but are thinking of looking into it next year. What sucks is when there is a total lack of breeze outside. That = zero air movement inside which sucks balls.
