My Little Boy

My little boy isn’t so little anymore! He’s getting so big so fast I can hardly catch my breath! He had his doctors appointment yesterday.

I’m proud to report that he’s doing very well, I could even say excellent!!! He weighs 16 pounds 12 ounces and is 26 inches long. He had 4 more shots, which he took very well. He didn’t even cry on the first two! My brave little one!!!! The doctor approved cereal and solid foods, as well as juice.

I was very excited. I ran to the store and bought everything that was stage one and suitable for 4 month olds. I have to pace each food so I can see if he’s allergic. I gave him rice cereal last night. It was mixed with breastmilk and he LOVED IT. He would scream and kick in between spoonfuls. He opens his mouth really wide and chomps down, grabbing the spoon from my hand in the process. Then when I finally wrestle it back, he sucks on his lips and makes little chewing motions. He also says “mmmmmmmm” too.

IT’S THE MOST ADORABLE THING IN THE WHOLE WORLD! I was so excited… you’d think I won the lotto or something. Nope, I just got to feed the light of my life some rice cereal and he loved it. I can’t wait to get home and feed him some more. Fruit will be next in a few days. I can’t wait.

Ahhhh, the simple pleasures of being a mommy. They are the best in the world.

Awww.. I love how you describe him.. I can just see it in my head.. =) 4 months!! omy.. I can’t wait till my little one gets here.. I’m getting sick of being preggers already.. heh. =)

I agree with you mother hood is wonderful isnt it ive got 3 kids anges are 13…..9….and……6 wow huh ? going threw teenages its unreal but hey its the joys of being a parent their great challenges lol….be safe cheers xxxoo

I think that the “small pleasures” life offers, like feeding Jonathan, are actually much bigger than winning the lotto. That is magnifacent, dear = ) I’m so happy that he’s doing well and that u are happy! I can’t believe he’s already so big!! and he’ll just keep growing… take care!
