My Baby Boy is a Blonde!

As is the case with most babies (or so I’m told), Jonathon has lost a lot of his original baby hair. I was so sad. I had been a beaming proud mama when he came out with hair! At first it was curly, and when they brought him back from being cleaned, it was straight and dark and lovely. I couldn’t stop stroking his soft little head the entire time we were in the hospital.

When he started going “baby bald” as I like to put it, everyone said it would grow back, don’t worry! So I haven’t… and to my surprise he’s growing this lovely golden blond fuzz. It’s so cute! ahhhh, I never thought I’d have a little blondie! Heh heh heh. His eyes are still that slate grey that a lot of babies have, but I think I see some hazely green specks in them when I look at him in sunlight. Oh he’s gonna be so handsome! I have to practice my swing so I can beat the girls off of him! Or, beat him off the girls.

I don’t think I want to speed up to that point anyway. I can’t wait until he gets excited when I come home. He doesn’t really do much now. He looks at me, then turns his head to the side because he wants to eat. He makes little bird noises and opens his mouth. What a greeting… it’s like, “Hey Food Lady, feed me! It’s your function when your around!”

But I know he loves me. I just can’t wait to hear “Mommy!” and see his face light up. Oh, I get butterflies just thinking about it.

Hopefully I’ll be in the mood to update my webpages next week. Right now, I’m just revving up to sail into my three days of bliss. =) At least, I hope they are bliss. I’m going to visit my cousin for her birthday and show off Jonathon to his great aunts and uncles. Yay!

I hope that the weekend is good for me and everyone else… because if not… ummm… we will try not to think about it.

Aww that’s so adorable! Blond kids are the best…in my blond-opinion, anyway. Start working on that swing, mom! Much Love

He must get the hair color from me 🙂

Sorta like my dog when I come home! Only your kid doesn’t have a snout. At least, not yet. Mwahahahaha. You wanted your update? You got your update…

“Mama” is definitely the most beautiful thing ever said to me ~beaming~

There are so many reasons that I don’t want to have children, but the way you talk about your child almost makes me reconsider. I hadn’t even contemplated experiencing the joy that you have with your son. You are an excellent mother!
