music lovers! come hither!
So I signed up for this music downloading site. I don’t even download music.I don’t even have a real ipod. Whatever, music is music and maybe ONE DAY I’ll have an ipod or something equivalent!
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll find a few good things to download,but I was wondering if people had suggestions? I’m looking for music that is seldom heard on the radio but is really good. I know some of my favs have awesome taste in music… so hook me up!

You can get an MP3 player for SO CHEAP now! Check WalMart, Amazon, and Best Buy. Even Walgreen’s has cheap ones! I’m not sure what you’d think of my taste, but I’ll send you a few names and see what you think.

Oooh. The Horrors, although they’re not to everyone’s taste. My favourite track is ‘death at the chapel’. Franz Ferdinand, although hardly obscure, their new album is awesome. ‘No You Girls’ or ‘Turn it On’ are worth a listen. Brand New, if you’ve not heard them. Laura Marling is lovely – New Romantic and My Manic and I. The Decemberists – Here I Dreamt I was an Architect.

I don’t know what kind of music you like.. some Indie kind of stuff I like is uh.. Ray Lamontagne, Lucy Wainwright Roche, uh… My sister likes the Weepies. My favorite older rock is Van Morrison, Dobie Gray, the Eagles… gee. There’s a version of Drift Away Uncle Cracker did recently, but he got Dobie Gray to sing with him, so it’s pretty good. RYN: That’s all I’ve written so far of Swing Low.. it’s like I’m stuck. :S I always come to a dilemma about where I want the story to go – I don’t want it to turn into a gushy mushy love story, but I don’t want to make it go slap crazy either, and so I get stuck.
