Ugh. today just sucks.

First of all, my game: I have plenty of everything to run it. I even did the EA websites "can you run this game?" thingie and I can, way over minimum. I have 4 gigs of ram and over 100 gigs of hard drive free so there is no memory or space issues.

For those who are "tech savvy"… here’s a slice of my DX Diag that I ran last night. I did a test of how fast my processor actually runs and it runs as fast as 5.7 GHz… so it’s not too shabby for a dual core that’s 4 years old! :

I was reading on the forums and I’ve seen a lot of people with the same processor as me (the amd athlon) having the crashing issue… so it may be that. I’m HOPING they come out with a patch to fix it… *sigh*

Stupid Sims.

I did download Bio shock last night, which I will cheat on without shame and hopefully that will fill the void.

I know it won’t.

I’m just so ANGRY.

It might be an overheating issue (though, I don’t think that’s it)… I mean, the system runs Assassins Creed really  nicely, which is a really resource intensive game. It can also run Spore, Bioshock, and Crysis… so this shit should run EASILY on my system.

I think it’s some stupid programming glitch that overwhelms my processor for no apparent reason. It’s lame. Because it crashes while PAUSED…. which makes no damn sense. A pause means NOTHING IS HAPPENING, nothing is loading, nothing is going on. So how can it be overloaded?

It just shuts down after 20 minutes and its lame.

Ugh, enough of this dumb sims talk.

Lets complain about the rest.

Fucking Ballys is trying to screw me over and sending me snarky emails about how I signed a contract and was informed about needing birth certs for my kids to go into the club. First of all… NO I was NOT informed. Second of all… NONE OF THAT IS IN THE CONTRACT, third of all, just waive the stupid requirement and let me use my membership or so help me!!!!!! So yeah, I wrote them back and told them as much and ended with something a bit too snarky and will probably work against me. Telling them if they can’t help then I want to cancel my membership and they can go fuck themselves is probably not going to work in my favor.

In my defense I wrote an apology right after, but I was mad damn it! (the apology was basically "Sorry for the use of foul language, I am jsut very upset with this process and the lack of knowledge that is being presented regarding your contracts and terms of service. Please refer me to someone who can help me with my issue or cancel my membership.")

We went to Red Robin and it sucked. I don’t think we’ll go there again. It wasn’t a big place but the service sucked and the burger was not delicious. Gourmet my ass. They didn’t even SEASON the meat, which is like a basic right? At least a little salt and pepper?

Ugh, whatever. The fries were good. ha!

We go home and its late and I just want to play my game and have it WORK….

which it didn’t.

And whileI was testing my game, Baboo went to sleep, as I mentioned.

I went to bed with no pants on, but that didn’t entice him at all.

so no sex for me, and I was feeling up to it despite a little shaky feeling in my stomach.

So yeah, then my game didn’t work, I didn’t get any ass (ha) and so I just went to sleep grouchy and had weird dreams about being a teacher.

UNTIL I WOKE UP TO THE NEIGHBOR GUY BONING HIS NEW CHICK.

Ugh.

Seriously, when I’m woken out of a dead sleep because there is  POUNDING (I’m sure he was taking her from behind… it was loud pounding!) and a SCREAMING MOANING noise permeating my walls, it’s annoying (a little hot, but STILL ANNOYING!!!) and it went on for at least 10 minutes.  I wanted to pound on the wall and say "finish already! jesus!", but I didn’t. I guess it’s payback cuz I’m sure if I could hear THAT then he has heard us a few times as well.

Ugh.

So yeah, he finally gives off his loud "oh yeah!!!!" man moan and it’s over… and they proceed to talk and slam around.

Asshats… it was 4:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!

So yeah, I’ve been up since then.

I’m not lucky enough to do drugs like they do and have weird work schedules as they obviously have and not have to wake up in the morning… or HALF AN HOUR LATER.

Anyway, after that I went thru my normal morning hooplah and Jacob lost his shoes which made us late, I forgot my chips for my lunch and my badge for work (though I snuck past the guard so I’m good until I go home!) and I just feel cranky and mean! MEAN I SAY!!!

Anyway, Baboo is coming over tonight and hopefully Bioshock will load without too many issues and maybe the tech support at EA will write back and at least give me hope that they are working to patch the issue and today will turn nice.
