I GOT MY GAME TO WORK!!!!

It turns out to be a freaking OVERHEATING issue.

Why Sims 3 makes my cpu overheat is beyond me, but… I opened the case and I have fan blowing on it like crazy and I got the game to play for OVER AN HOUR.

Hell yeah bitches.

SOOOO… now when I play I have to take the case off and fan it.

I"m so happy.

Seems I could have saved myself 50 bucks, but oh well. It is done.

I’m glad I did my research and figured it out. ha ha.

Also, Bioshock works… sorta. It errored out after 10 minutes of playing, but I’ll try again later. It was scaring me anyway! ha ha. I’m a nut.

Anyway, that makes me so happy!!!

I also got some really good sex0rs last night.

Ha ha neighbors, take that.. TWICE!!!

We had some champagne and got it on around 10ish… which was lovely, but we didn’t finish.

I babbled about random who knows what and fell asleep. I was having a weird dream and partially woke up and rolled near Baboo… and suddenly he was on to p of me going at it!

I heard that the Sims3 causes the overheating issue because it uses a lot of memory. Also the game has a few glitches in it. Every time I go to clean out the fridge it freezes up. lol

I can’t play Sims 3 – my computer doesn’t meet the minimum requirements 🙁

Glad you got the game to work. Maybe you need to buy a new CPU fan. Or have you thermal sealant on your CPU? That helps with heat alot too. Hope the game continues to rock out. Oh yeah, do I get to cash out the points you awarded on my entry for a prize? 😉

i am so frikin happy for you! i know what its like to have something you desperately want so very close, and yet so far away 🙁

Overheating by games is pretty common, I would make sure all the fans are clean and running at the proper RPM’s, problem could be as simple as dust build up in the case / fans. Also you could take the CPU off and clean the surface with CPU cleaner, and then put some new Thermal compound on it as well, but that is only if you are 110% sure you know what you are doing!

Good for you getting sims to work and getting a little somethin somthing on the side. I suppose there will be no more entries all weekend now that sims is going on. Next time pound on the wall and scream a lot! On a side note my sim gets more action then I do. Bastard!
