ectopic *E

just great.

so out of curiousity i did one of those dumb "diagnostic" thingies and all signs point to me possibly having an ectopic pregnancy.

This scares the bejesus out of me.

the hormones could be so low that the home pregnancy tests aren’t registering them.

baboo wants me to go to the doctor tonight.

but i’d rather wait and see if i start my period. maybe by friday.

he doesn’t want me to wait.

fuck.

i’m scared.

*E: gotta love having a over abundance of information at your fingertips.

I don’t think it’s that.

I have no bleeding and really, the pain i’m feeling isn’t even that bad, it doesn’t even rival my normal cramps.

I’m not going to freak out and go to a doctor yet.

fuck that noise.

im not going to a doctor just to look stupid.

I’ll just be patient. my period will be here soon.

I’d hate to see you wait until you were in too much pain or the pregnancy did permanent damage to you. But that being said, you know your own body best. I hope it’s nothing and you are all better soon.

eeeck!

I think you should compromise with Baboo and go to the doctor tomorrow. He said tonight, you say Friday, so meet him half way and go tomorrow if you don’t start. He’s worried about you, just like the rest of us. Easing him mind wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Maybe you should just go in for a check up. Don’t even mention the possibility of being pregnant, just a yearly exam or something. That way you wont look stupid though I doubt the Dr. would think that plus you’ll hopefully get an answer as to why your period is flipping out on you. <3 Annie-Rae

hope things turn out to be okay; but what’s an ectopic pregnancy? haha i feel dumb not knowing this.

my best friend had an ectopic pregnancy and yes, her first test was a false negative, but about a week later she did test positive.. however, and I’m not telling you this to scare you or anything, she never bled or anything she just got pain — by the time she figured that something was wrong and went to the hospital her tube had ruptured and she almost died…

go to the doc.

RYN: I understand how you feel – but I’ve heard time and time again that if you feel that something isn’t right with your body – don’t ignore it… doctor’s understand that and preach that all the time (ever seend Doctor Oz??)… you know your body more than anybody, and you obviously feel as though something is wrong – even if it’s not an ectopic pregnancy, you said yourself that something just

doesn’t feel right… even without symptoms, that “feeling” alone is more than enough reason to go to the doctor… if anything be PROUD that you are so intuned to your body, ya know? not many people are… besides the stress of worrying about it alone isn’t good for you… and I promise, your doctor will tell you it’s always a good thing to get checked out if you have that feeling… 🙂

I don’t think you’ll look stupid for going to the doc. You know your body best and what it’s doing is not normal for you. Even if it turned out to be nothing ‘ at least you’d know and have the peace of mind right? *hugs*

Ahhhh…too much stress! If you’re covered by insurance, why not just go to the Dr. ASAP and get to the bottom of it all?

September 16, 2009

You won’t look stupid, but I know you’re probably sick of people telling you to go to the doctor etc.
